Changes of China's Ancient Pastoral Poems

Landscape pastoral poetry is an important school of China's poetry. Xie Lingyun and Tao Yuanming created landscape poems and pastoral poems respectively. In the Tang Dynasty, Wang Wei and Meng Haoran inherited and developed the theme and creative style of Xie Tao's poems, and at the same time, they permeated the description of landscapes, so that landscape poems and pastoral poems merged and formed the school of pastoral poems, which had a far-reaching influence in the history of China literature.

Attach importance to expressing this philosophy through artistic images rather than abstract language. Tao Yuanming's great contribution in the history of poetry development lies in his creation of a new aesthetic field and a new artistic conception. Although the general metaphysical poets have noticed that they understand philosophy from the investigation of nature, thus the germination of landscape poetry has emerged, but few people have turned their attention to the simple rural land [7], only in Tao Yuanming's pen, rural students.
