The development of Tang poetry can be roughly divided into four stages. Where is it?

The development of Tang poetry can be roughly divided into four stages: early Tang, prosperous Tang, middle Tang and late Tang.

(1) Early Tang Dynasty: from the first year of Gaozu Wude (6 18) to the early year of Xuanzong Kaiyuan (7 13), about 100. The poetry of the first 50 years is basically a continuation of the formalistic poetry style of the Southern Dynasties. In the past 50 years, there have been "four outstanding figures in the early Tang Dynasty" (Yang Jiong, Lu, Luo), which broke through the shackles of palace poetry. Follow Chen Ziang, hold high the banner of innovation, and use your own theory and creation. It reversed the poetic atmosphere at that time, showed vigorous character and opened the way for the healthy development of Tang poetry.

(2) The prosperous Tang Dynasty: about 50 years from the first year of Kaiyuan (7 13) to the early year of Daizong Dali (766). This period is the peak of the development and prosperity of Tang poetry; Romantic poetic style full of vigorous spirit is the mainstream of poetry in this period. From Kaiyuan of Xuanzong to Tianbao, poetry flourished in an all-round way, and a large number of famous artists appeared. Their works are exquisite and beautiful, vigorous and fresh, with fantastic images and harmonious phonology and rhythm, showing the artistic characteristics of the times.

(3) Mid-Tang Dynasty: From the first year of Dali (766) to the ninth year of Emperor Wenzong Dahe (835), about 60 years is the richest period in the history of Tang poetry development. (Poets, many schools), most of his works show calm observation and deep thinking about reality, and the mainstream of poetry and songs has turned from romance to reality.

(4) Late Tang Dynasty: the ninth year of the founding of Wenzong (836)-the third year of Zhaozong Tianyou (906), about 70 years. Famous poets include Du Mu and Li Shangyin, who are called "Little Du Li". Their works expose the darkness of society and express the hidden worries about the fate of the country; Following the realistic poets Pi Rixiu, Nie and Du Xunhe, their poems also exposed darkness and attacked tyranny.
