Combined with the small class theme activity "I have six babies", our garden has carried out a series of activities related to eyes, aiming to help children form keen observation ability and the ability to find things actively. This activity is one of them. I divide the teaching activities into four parts, and learn about eyes according to the clue of "companion → self → foreigner → animal", so that children can perceive the diversity of eye shape characteristics and experience the fun of activities.
Goal:
1. Understand the appearance features and simple functions of eyes.
2. Feel the diversity of eye appearance characteristics in the process of seeing, speaking and guessing.
3. Actively participate in activities and experience the fun of discovery.
Prepare:
1. "Guess who he is" PPT (including close-ups of teachers' eyes and children's eyes with high recognition).
2. Close-up PPT of several animals familiar to children.
3. One-handed small mirror (placed under the children's chair before activities).
4. Hide the children's toys in the activity room in advance.
Process:
First of all, "guess who he is", sprout interest in observing eyes.
1. The teacher shows the close-up pictures of the children's eyes one by one and guides the children to guess.
Teacher: These are some pictures of children with bright eyes. Please guess who he is.
Teacher: Where did you see it? The teacher answers questions according to the children's answers and helps them sort out their knowledge and experience. )
2. Show the pictures of the teacher's eyes, let the children guess which teacher's eyes are in the class, and improve their interest in observation activities.
Teacher (summary): Everyone's eyes are unique. You can tell everyone at a glance.
Second, observe the eyes and get a preliminary understanding of the appearance characteristics and simple functions of the eyes.
1. The child looks at his eyes in the mirror.
Teacher: What are your eyes like? Please take out your little mirror and have a look, then say something. (children communicate freely first, and then tell them individually. )
2. Children combine PPT to collectively perceive the appearance characteristics of eyes again.
Teacher: Eyelashes can help us keep out the dust. There are eyeballs in it, and there are black eyeballs on the eyeballs. The eyes will move, which allows us to see things in all directions. There are eyelids above the eyes that open and close.
3. On the basis of the child's full perception, the teacher used the riddle "Up hair, down hair, a black grape in the middle" to help the child summarize the appearance characteristics of the eyes.
4. Children look at the PPT of foreigners' eye photos and perceive the diversity of eye shape characteristics.
Teacher: Our eyes are black. What color eyes have you seen? Play PPT one by one to guide children to feel and communicate. )
Third, expand the topic and understand the eyes of animals.
Teacher: Who else has eyes besides people?
Teacher: (PPT showing the eyes of small animals) Please guess who it is.
Teacher (summary): There are all kinds of eyes. People have eyes, so do animals. Animals' eyes are also diverse.
Fourth, feel the role of eyes.
1. The teacher covered his eyes with his palm, which made the children think.
Teacher: What's the use of eyes? What would happen if there were no eyes?
2. Let the children find out the toys they brought from home and hid in the activity room, and say where the toys are hidden.
3. The children searched and said: What did I see with my eyes?
Extended activities:
1. Play the outdoor game "hide and seek".
2. Ask children to continue to observe the eyes of various people and animals in their daily lives.
Reflection:
First, think about the value of activities.
1. Through this activity, children have a preliminary understanding of the appearance characteristics and functions of eyes, know the importance of eyes to people, and have a desire to care for them. At the same time, the activity also prepares children for further learning to observe things around them with their eyes.
2. Understanding and distinguishing the appearance characteristics of peers through eyes enhances children's mutual concern and promotes children's social development.
3. Appreciating rich pictures in activities not only expands children's knowledge and experience, lets children know the diversity of eye appearance characteristics, but also stimulates children's interest in observing, discovering and exploring things.
Second, thinking about activity strategies.
Teachers should not only have interesting and appropriate content, but also have important teaching strategies when organizing small class science activities.
1. On the premise of children's "happy study", attention should be paid to stimulating children's interest in scientific activities. In the activities, teachers use multimedia teaching methods to attract children to actively participate in the activities, so that children can feel the diversity of eye appearance characteristics and appreciate the eyes of natural animals, making the activities colorful and children willing to learn.
2. Highlight the teaching focus and improve the teaching effect. Considering that small class children's attention is mainly unintentional and the stability of attention is poor, the pictures provided by teachers to children are intuitive (such as the eyes of companions, foreigners and animals) and highlight the key points (all close-ups of eyes), which not only stimulates children's interest in participating in activities, but also enables children to focus on eye observation and improve learning effect.
