"I heard that Wang Changling moved to the left and Long Biao was sent here." Li Bai:
After the easy autumn, cuckoo clock, I heard you pass five streams.
My heart is full of sorrow, and the moon is full of sorrow. I will always follow you until Yelangxi.
Translation:
I heard that you were demoted as a captain of Longbiao when the catkins fell and the rules crowed, and the remote place of Longbiao had to pass through Wuxi.
I put my sad thoughts on the bright and warm moon, hoping it can accompany you to Yelangxi with the wind.
The first sentence of this poem describes the depression when spring disappears, and renders the environment gloomy and sad. The second sentence is a description of Wang Changling's "left shift" to his post, which shows Li Bai's concern and sympathy for his poetry friends. Three or four sentences are sent to the scene to sincerely encourage and comfort poetry friends. The whole poem chooses images such as flowers, rules, bright moon and wind. Weaving a hazy dream with strange imagination. Although it does not trace back to the past scenes and friendship with friends, it expresses friendship sincerely and touching through the description of the scenery.
