What country does Frost come from?

Frost enjoys the reputation of "pastoral poet" and "poet laureate" in American literature. Robert Frost (1874- 1963) is the most popular poet in America in the 20th century. He won the Pulitzer Prize four times (1924, 193 1, 1937, 1944). 193 1 was awarded the Russell Loynes Prize for Poetry by American Literature and Art Society in June 5438+February. 1939 won the gold medal of American Literature and Art Society.

Frost is often called an "alternative poet", which means that he is in a period of alternation between traditional poetry and modernist poetry. He and thomas eliot are called the two centers of modern American poetry.
