My yearning for freedom comes from that poem?

I long for freedom is from Ye Ting's prison song.

Prison Song is a modern poem written by Ye Ting, a modern revolutionary, in 1942. This poem exposes the ugly behavior and extremely weak nature of the Kuomintang reactionaries, shows the great integrity of the revolutionaries, and expresses the lofty aspirations and lofty sentiments of dedicating themselves to the revolution. The whole poem is easy to understand, such as blurting out, but the emotion is intense, the momentum is heroic and the artistic conception is clear and complete.

Original text:

The prisoner's lament

Ye Ting

The doors that people come in and out are locked,

The hole the dog climbed was open,

A voice shouted:

Climb out and set you free!

I long for freedom,

But I also know-

How can a person's body crawl out of a dog hole!

I can only hope,

That day-

The underground fire is burning,

Burn this living coffin with me,

I deserve eternal life in fire and blood.
