Ye Jiaying: Reciting ancient poems and realizing life.

The purpose of chanting is not to listen to others, but to make your heart and the poet's heart in the work communicate and feel deeper and closer through the voice of chanting. Therefore, the life of China's classical poetry grew up with the tradition of chanting. The characteristics of arousing emotion in classical poetry are also closely combined with the tradition of chanting things. Ye Jiaying's "I love reciting the preface"

Only recite China's poems.

Reading poems to children is a very good teaching method. People's development, memory is the best when they are young, and understanding ability is developed later. For children, don't even talk much, just let them recite directly, preferably with tones.

I can only recite poems, not words.

Only poems, no words.

China's poems are recited, but foreign poems are not.

China's poems are metrical, five or seven words, flat and even. Why is there a meter? Just for chanting.

China's poetry, from the Zhou Dynasty, the earliest "Li Zhou Guan Chun Da Le Si" recorded that "children are taught to read and recite in musical language, and the textbook they read is The Book of Songs". How to teach them?

Inspirational satire. Xing, the noun is pronounced xing, the verb is pronounced xTng, and xing is the rise of xing. Reading poetry first makes readers feel a kind of inner touch, not as careless as a young monk chanting, but as a real feeling rising from the poem; Guidance is guidance. Tell the children what this poem means and what its connotation is. This "guide" not only stays in the poems of The Book of Songs, but also associates with other things in many poems. Therefore, Confucius said that "poetry is fine", and those who can get excited and moved from poetry are those who can read poetry.

Reading poetry should be inspiring and moving.

There are two good examples in The Analects of Confucius.

Once, Zi Gong asked Confucius, "What is poverty without flattery and wealth without arrogance?" The poor are not flattering, and the rich are not proud. What does the teacher think?

Confucius answered him, "Yes, it is better to be poor than happy, and to be rich and courteous." It is better to be poor and enjoy yourself, rich and polite.

Originally said to be a man, Zi Gong suddenly replied:? "The poem said," incisive will be polished. "It is said in the Book of Songs that jade or ivory can only be more exquisite after deliberation. It shows that my point of view is still very rough, and it is more refined after the teacher's thinking.

Hearing this, Confucius praised the students and said, "If you give alms, you can only talk about them in poetry." You can link from one level to another. It is a discussion about jade ivory, which is related to the improvement of people's character.

Xia Zi also came to ask Confucius. He asked directly about the Book of Songs: The Book of Songs said: I laughed and looked forward to it, always thinking it was gorgeous. What is it? "The book of songs says that women have two dimples when they smile, which is very beautiful. Her beautiful eyes flow, very beautiful; And plain color is white, and gorgeous is gorgeous color. Xia Zi asked, "Teacher, white has no color, why do you say that white has gorgeous color?"

Confucius told him: "When I'm finished, I'll do it." When painting, if you want to draw bright colors, you must first prepare a white plain silk, and only with a white texture can you have bright colors.

Xia Zi listened to the teacher's explanation and said? "After the ceremony?" People associate him with being a poet. What do you mean "after the ceremony"? When we are human beings, the original spiritual quality comes first, and the external etiquette is added later. Painting needs essence to have gorgeous colors, being a man needs a sincere heart, and your etiquette comes from the heart.

Zigong is associated with poetry, and Xia Zi is associated with poetry. Poetry should give people rich associations.

Wang Guowei said that a big questioner has to go through three realms, and all he quoted were small words describing love. However, how can the small words describing love be associated with the realm of growing up? This is to be excited and moved when reading poetry.

Understand the "ambition" of the ancients

There have always been two opinions about the content of poetry: one is to express one's ambition through poetry; A kind of poetry.

The "ambition" mentioned by the ancients means that the scholars "cultivate themselves, govern the country and level the world". Your inner joys and sorrows, your ambition and your ideal pursuit can all be written into poems, and you can express your will and feelings.

The "ambition" that modern people say is often superficial. I want to get a doctorate, study abroad, make a lot of money and drive a BMW. This is not ambition at all, just desire.

Do a lifelong career with lifeless consciousness.

My teacher, Mr. Gu Sui, mentioned the ideal and realm of being a man when talking about poetry.

I summed up the teacher's meaning: "Do life with lifeless consciousness and live an optimistic life with a pessimistic attitude." I donated my pension to set up a scholarship, but the office building of China Institute of Classical Culture was donated by Mr. Cai. Do you know what happened to Mr. Cai? He comes from the coastal area of Guangdong. He has gone to Hong Kong on business and wants to take his family there. At that time, shortly after the end of World War II, all his family encountered torpedoes at sea, but unfortunately they were all gone. He has donated buildings to many universities, not just our buildings. Before I donated money, my eldest daughter and son-in-law had a car accident and both lost their lives. Because of this experience, I know that everything is short-lived, and only culture is long-lasting.

It is meaningful to contribute your life and do something for this long-term thing. Only by devoting one's life to pursuing something broader and longer will it be meaningful. We are all people who have experienced great disasters, and it is meaningless to be sad and miserable all day. Only by opening your mind, forgetting everything about yourself and putting your life into a longer life can you live an optimistic life with a pessimistic mood.
