Five-character quatrains are one of the traditional poetry genres in China, which belongs to one kind of quatrains, that is, five-character four-sentence short poems that conform to the norms of metrical poetry, and belong to the category of modern poetry. This style originated from Yuefu poems in Han Dynasty, was deeply influenced by folk songs in Six Dynasties and matured in Tang Dynasty. There are only twenty crosses in the whole article, which can show a vivid picture and convey a true artistic conception.
