What are the works of famous writers in Finnish literature in the 1930s and 1940s?

From 1930s to 1940s, Finland experienced the world economic crisis and World War II. Some writers broke through various obstacles and persisted in the anti-fascist struggle. Kira Society, a progressive literature organization established in 1930s, publicly declared that its guiding ideology was Marxism, and published the publication1940s and many anti-fascist articles. Han Pei (1905- 1955) wrote many short stories and novels, which reflected the workers' movement in the 1920s and 1930s, expressed sympathy for poor farmers and loggers, and also showed the anti-fascist movement at that time. Sinnavo's "Sunanning" and "Up the Mountain" are both set in the 1930s, describing the life of urban workers and reflecting people's dissatisfaction. At this time, workers and writers like Toivo Pekkanen (1902- 1955) appeared. His novels Shadow of the Factory (1932) and Spring of the People (1935) truly reflect the lives and demands of workers. Mika Valtari (1908- 1979) was also a popular writer in this period. He wrote many novels, poems, short stories and plays, reflecting social problems such as the way out for young people after the war. His masterpiece is the historical novel Sinuhai in Egypt, which describes the love story of young people in ancient Egypt. In the 1940s, the famous female writers were Ella Merry Luoto (1924-) and Wei Tuo Jansson (1914-). The former is a poet and his masterpiece is a glass painting (1946). The latter is a writer of fairy tales and comics, and the protagonist gnome mummy in her fairy tales is widely known.

After World War II, a large number of literary works describing the war appeared. The famous ones are The Unknown Soldier by Vanino Linner (1920-), Peace by humorous satirist Hu Weining (1927-), Friends and Enemies by Talvi (1920-) and We Live in the Shadow of Russia. Most of these works truly reflect the historical reality and express the strong will of the Finnish people to defend national independence.
