Speech at the gathering of over 40 years of educated youth after the Spring Festival

Speech at the 40th Anniversary Reunion of Educated Youth

Dear Comrades of Educated Youth:

Hello everyone. It is truly a great blessing to receive the kindness of all of you and to speak respectfully and obediently. I am deeply moved and would like to thank you for this.

Forty years ago, five batches of our students in their prime, with simple dreams in mind, came to the vast classroom. The rows of red brick houses, the wooden planks, the fields of crops, and the smiling faces. It is as if it is right before our eyes and will always be remembered in our hearts.

In the past 40 years, some comrades have returned to provincial capitals, some have taken root in their hometowns, some have started businesses in other places, and some have traveled across oceans.

Forty years later, we, nearly in our sixties, gathered at the feet of xx to relive that unforgettable time. Whether it is politics, education, self-employment, or business; whether it is success or setback, dull or brilliant, the hometown and friendship have not been forgotten. There is no high or low here, and there is no harsh world here. Because we always believe: we are destined, we have feelings, and we are more kind.

The years are like a song, and the time is like water. We have experienced so much ups and downs, and how much rain, snow, wind and frost we have experienced. It is the times that give us a special title - educated youth, and it is our persistent pursuit that allows us to write a chapter. Our struggle embodies the "xx complex" and our friendship is as long as the green mountains and clear waters. The memories of the past are our attachment to the times, and today's gathering is our yearning for happiness. Let us smile and shine with the sunshine; let us have luck and peace.

Raise a glass, my comrade, I have no sleep tonight, let the joy of reunion eliminate the physical and mental fatigue, let the mellow wine dilute the vicissitudes of the years, let the beautiful singing evoke the memories of youth, and let the cheerful dance steps Lead us on a new journey!

Finally, I would like to send these words to my comrades:

I will never forget that year of XX, the fiery furnace between heaven and earth.

Severe cold and scorching heat bloom with great ambitions, and youth remains forever in the heart.

Thank you! ! !
