The "yanshui" of Yanshui Fishing Village has the beauty of three smokes: willow smoke, cloud smoke, and kitchen smoke. When people interact with the smoke and water, it is like being in a fairyland. Fish by the lake, walk on the pond, sip local rice wine, and experience the life of the Xixi aborigines.
Bo'an Thatched Cottage
Bo'an Thatched Cottage crosses Puji Bridge, and the water system suddenly opens up. There is an isolated island with several towering trees. In front of the island on the right, there is an island rebuilt from a wooden boat. A small pier. After boarding the pier, walking through a bamboo path of about 20 meters, the Bo'an "clad" with thick thatch appeared in front of us. "An" means thatched cottage. It was originally the manor of Zou Xiaozhi in the late Ming Dynasty. It is surrounded by reeds and full of wild scenery. The entire manor is like a fairy island parked on the water, so it is named Bo'an Thatched Cottage.
This is the manor of Zou Xiaozhi (a famous teacher) from Qiantang in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Mr. Zou enjoyed reading and Taoism, and did not seek to be educated. He and his two younger brothers farmed and studied here for their own entertainment, and they managed the family with poetry and etiquette. At that time, the area was full of reeds and full of wild charm. Viewed from a high place, the entire manor looked like a fairy island moored on the water, hence the name "Bolu".
This is a group of literati-style buildings. The main room has a thatched roof, which is natural and simple, and blends in with the surrounding trees. The exterior of the building is simple and natural, while the internal beams are slightly refined. The doors and windows are treated with architectural components from the Wei and Jin Dynasties, implicitly reflecting the nobility and elegance of the hermits. There is an ancient screen in the middle of the Bo'an thatched cottage, surrounded by the four treasures of the study and old-fashioned furniture. On the left is a tea room facing the water. It is really a good place to read, drink tea and enjoy the scenery.
Xixi Water Pavilion

Youzhi, bamboo forest and willow smoke, covered by barriers. Xixi Water Pavilion is a group of literati-style buildings, where literati lived in seclusion in the deep marsh and collected books and studied.
Shui Pavilion consists of two groups of buildings, the "Yongshu Building" in the east and the "Lanxi Bookstore" in the west. The walls of the water pavilion include a rammed earth wall in the lower gable and a woven bamboo-and-mud wall with exposed beams in the upper part, giving it a strong rural atmosphere. There is a pier on the east and west sides, and a small pavilion on each shore (egret pavilion on the east) to facilitate tourists to get on and off and rest. A stone bridge connects the east and west banks. Climbing to the Xixi Water Pavilion, you can see the green mountains in the distance, and hear the light waves lapping the shore. There are pink and green willows on the shore, and the waves are reflected in the water. The Xixi Water Pavilion is stacked on top of the water and comes alive because of the water, fully demonstrating the infinite interest of the "real pavilion and real water" where the pavilion and water blend together.
Xixi has many literati since ancient times. Many calligraphy treasures and footprints of literati were left on this land. Xixi Water Pavilion was mainly used by literati to collect books, study and meet friends. Mei Zhu Villa
After landing at Mei Zhu Villa, you embark on a path on both sides, cross a wooden bridge to the left, and set up a palm-covered replica fishing boat next to the water. A thick rope holds the fishing net in the water, which is very wild and interesting. Going right along the path, you will see the gate of Meizhu Villa. When you look around, you will see that the inside of the village is full of greenery.
Meizhu Villa was built by Zhang Cibai, a scholar in the Qing Dynasty. Today's Meizhu Villa mainly has three main buildings: "Meizhu Wulu", "Xuanhui Hall" and "Xu Pavilion".
When entering the courtyard, you first go to the Plum and Bamboo Hall, then go behind the hall and cross the small bridge to the Sixuzhai and Xuge. Entering from the south, follow the 100-meter Yangchang trail to the floating pavilion. There is a persimmon tree on the west side of the pavilion and a pine tree on the east side of the pavilion. The shade is like an umbrella and the pavilion is like a canopy. Visitors stand under the pavilion and look up at the villa. They see the Dutou Pond embankment across the front, the Plum and Bamboo House looming behind the green shade, and the Xuanhui Hall's eaves slightly exposed deep in the Plum and Bamboo.
This was built by Zhang Fu (also known as Cibai) (approximately 1777-1857), a scholar from Qiantang in the Qing Dynasty. There are many ancient plums and bamboos in the village. According to historical records, Zhang Cibai made a great contribution to the excavation and dredging project of Xixi. He was a noble person, loved reading, and loved calligraphy and painting. He often invited friends to come here to recite poems and paint. Hence the name.
Shentankou
After passing the Changchun Bridge in Shentankou, you will see a wide water surface. Four large camphor trees that are hundreds of years old are distributed on both sides of the river bank, with branches and leaves. Mao. This is the mouth of Shentan.
The book "Nan Zhangzi" records: "The mouth of the deep pool cannot be crossed without a boat; I heard that there is a dragon pool, but it is unfathomable." The surrounding rivers and ports are connected in a cross, the water surface is wide, and the unique Its geographical advantages and environmental atmosphere are most suitable for dragon boat racing. It has been passed down to this day, adding infinite fun to the lives of Xixi people and adding color to Xixi's local customs. Today, there is a bluestone pier two or three meters apart on both sides of the Shentankou River. There are dozens of houses on the bank, mixed with stone bridges and several grape trellises. The tenderness of the Jiangnan water town remains the same.
Shentankou is also known as Shenzhen Port. "Nanzhangzi" records: "Shentankou cannot be crossed without a boat; if you hear a dragon, the deep pool is unfathomable." Therefore, Shentankou became Jiangcun Every year, the Dragon Boat Festival is held here, and during the Dragon Boat Festival, people come and go by boat, making it very lively, which adds a lot to the local customs of Xixi.

The "cold life tea house" just confirms the artistic conception of the ancients, "the plum blossoms are reflected under the bamboo, and it is so quiet and serene that it makes people lose their fame and wealth."
Together with the nearby Plum and Bamboo Villa, Xixi Thatched Cottage, Xixi Water Pavilion, etc., it constitutes the main content of Xixi Plum and Bamboo Recreation Area. As you walk south to north along the waterway to the west of Meishu, you will see plum blossoms all over the mountains and plains after crossing the Chunxin Bridge. After landing and climbing up the stairs, we encountered two grass-roofed buildings, one virtual and one real. Walking along the vegetable fields in front of and behind the house, you can see two groups of pastoral farmhouses: Xingmeiyuan and Hongmeiwu. Some citizens have brought some side dishes, dry food and drinks with them and set up a table in Meishu to pass the day chatting and experience farm life.
Xixi Thatched Cottage
Go through a long bamboo path and arrive in front of a small courtyard. There is a crisp iron ring knocking on the door with a plaque of "Xixi Thatched Cottage" hanging on it. The shop opened in response, and an exquisite courtyard appeared in front of us. The ground is covered with thin green grass, surrounded by fences, green bamboo covering the white mud walls, ancient wells, grape trellises, stone chairs... a picture of a simple and quiet farmhouse. Suddenly, two swallows flew out of the "Kuaitang" on the side. It seemed that the swallows also liked the beautiful scenery of the farmhouse and built a bird's nest in the inner hall.
The owner of the thatched cottage is the famous Ming Dynasty scholar Feng Mengzhen. The whole group of buildings is divided into north and south parts according to the fish pond. The south part is the main house and a two-story building. There is a yard at the front and back. There is a grass pavilion "Qiyun Pavilion" in the north, which is a place for appreciating plum blossoms, playing with bamboos, and singing songs while drinking. The thatched cottage is characterized by its secluded environment and far-reaching scenery: the embankment on the east side is verdant and has a far-reaching view, the wild grass shoal on the north side has the simple and wild beauty of the wetland, and the west side is layered with embankments and ponds, directing visitors' sight to the distant landscape. The persimmon bushes and ribbon-shaped cogon grass give it a sense of distance.
Qiu Xue'an

Because on the isolated island, there is an endless reed beach to the east and south, a vast white artistic conception. Chen Jiru, a great calligrapher and painter of the Ming Dynasty, took the artistic conception of the Tang Dynasty poem "Qiu Meng Fishing Boat" and named it "Qiu'an". The current Qiu'an was redesigned and restored based on old photos from the Republic of China, combined with the surrounding natural features and the written records and poetic artistic conceptions of the predecessors.
