Liu Yong is famous for his talents. In terms of painting, he was recommended by the National Museum of History in 1978 and went to the United States to give lectures. He has been invited to hold solo exhibitions nearly 30 times around the world. Liu Yong's greatest achievement in art is the original inkjet dyeing and rubbing method, which combines modern inkjet techniques with traditional Chinese painting rubbing methods to create a dream-like atmosphere of yin and yang. He is most famous in literary and artistic theory for proposing the Chinese symbolism theory in Chinese and English monographs. Liu Yong's literary style is multifaceted.
