What kind of lake does spring come like painting on the lake?

Spring is like painting on the lake, which means the West Lake.

It's from "Spring on the Lake" written by Bai Juyi in Tang Dynasty. The original text:

Spring comes like painting on the lake, and chaotic peaks are spread around the horizon.

the pine row is covered with thousands of verdant mountains, and the moon has a pearl in its heart.

early rice is pumped by the blue carpet thread, and the green Luo nepotism shows new pu.

I failed to throw it to Hangzhou, and half of it was this lake.

Translation:

Spring in the West Lake is like an intoxicating landscape painting. Surrounded by mountains, the lake is watery and blue, and the level is like a mirror.

The pine trees are lined up in layers of emerald color on the mountain, and a full moon is reflected into the water, like a pearl, glittering and translucent and floating.

Early rice is like a huge green blanket with piles on it, and the stretched new pu is like a skirt floating on a girl.

I can't leave Hangzhou for other places, partly because I miss the picturesque West Lake.

Creation background

This is a famous poem about the spring scenery of West Lake in Hangzhou.

The author was appointed as the secretariat of Hangzhou in July, 822 (the second year of Tang Muzong Li Heng Changqing), and took office in October, and left Hangzhou for Luoyang at the end of May, the fourth year of Changqing.

This poem was written on the eve of the author's resignation as the secretariat of Hangzhou, about the spring of the fourth year of Changqing in the Tang Dynasty (AD 824), and before the author's stay in Hangzhou was about to expire.
