Bian (19 10-), a native of Haimen, Jiangsu Province, is the author of many books of poetry, such as Collection of Poems, Collection of Sound and Dust, Collection of Fish, and Calendar of Carving Insects. Metaphor and symbolism are the lyrical ways of Bian's poems, which create a kind of implicit beauty. However, some of his works are too obscure to be solved. Written in 1935, Broken Chapters reveals a philosophy of life with "relative" significance through the transformation of the relationship between "seeing" and "being seen" in the scenery, which is a masterpiece in Bian's poems.
