Wang Wei was a famous poet in the Tang Dynasty of my country. He not only had very high attainments in literary creation, but also made certain achievements in painting. Wang Wei was a Jinshi during the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. After becoming an official, he went to Hexi Jiedu to make a judge and a doctor in the official department. During the Anshi Rebellion, he was forced to take a false position. During the Qianyuan period of Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Weiguan paid homage to Shangshu Youcheng, which is why he was called "Wang Youcheng".

While serving as the judge of the Hexi Jiedu Envoy, Wang Wei officially entered the marching life of the frontier fortress. The frontier fortress style poems in his poems were officially written during this period, such as "Coming out of the Fortress" and "Envoys". Poems such as "To the Fortress", "Longtou Yin", "Longxi Journey", "Veteran General's Journey" and "Joining the Army", etc., have both heroic and helpless laments in style and tone.
