Since the beginning of Wanli Dynasty, Ming Dynasty literature - including poetry, prose, novels, drama and other fields, has gradually shown an overall upward trend. Moreover, these different types of literature show clear consistency in advocating the liberation of individuality, requiring freedom from the constraints of etiquette, affirming people's natural desires, and paying attention to the expression of true emotions. This shows that the changes in socio-economic forms and ideologies since the middle of Ming Dynasty have widely affected literary creation, and used them to express new life ideals and pursuits, as well as the confusion and distress caused by them. Poetry, as a traditional literary form, retains the habit of being more "elegant" to some extent. It is not as explicit as drama and novels, but they are still fundamentally similar to each other. In terms of reflecting the spiritual life of cultural people, poetry is more direct and detailed.
