What is the original text of the poem "You are old, Dad William"?

"The young man said.

You're old, Father William,

Your head is covered with white hair.

But you always stand on your head,

Is this appropriate at your age? '

When I was young.

Father William answered his son:

I am afraid it will damage the brain;

Now that my head is empty,

So keep playing.

"You are old," said the young man. As I said just now,

You become very fat,

But when you came, it was a forward somersault,

How did this happen? Please tell me something. '

But when I was young,

The old philosopher shook his gray curly hair and said:

I always keep my joints soft and dexterous.

I use this box of one shilling ointment,

Do you want two boxes?

Please allow me to push the sale to you. '

"You are old," said the young man.

Your chin should be so weak that you can only drink thin soup.

But you let a whole goose go.

Eat all the bones and mouths,

Excuse me, how can you do this? '

"But when I was young," my father said,

Study the legal provisions.

For each case,

To argue with their wives,

So I trained my chin to be muscular,

This has benefited me for life. '

"You are old," said the young man.

It's hard to imagine,

Your eyes will shine as before.

But you can put an eel,

Stand on the tip of your nose.

Excuse me, how can you be so great? '

"That's enough," said his father.

I have answered three questions.

Don't be too presumptuous,

I don't want to listen to your nonsense all day,

Get out of here! Or I'm going,

Kick you down the stairs. '
