Extended data
First, the creative background
This poem was written in the 28th year of Kaiyuan (740) or 29th year of Kaiyuan (74 1), which coincided with the poet's wandering in Zhao Qi and Qiu Maye.
Second, appreciate
This is a poem praising things and expressing ambitions. Du Fu is good at riding horses and likes horses very much. He wrote many poems about horses.
The style of this poem is super vigorous and powerful, which embodies the enterprising spirit of young Du Fu.
This poem is divided into two parts.
The first four sentences are written on the front of the horse, which is a solid writing. The poet, like Dan Qing's wonderful hand, painted a "Huma" for us with a vivid pen; From Dawan (the name of the western regions in the Han Dynasty, famous for producing "blood horses"), it is natural and extraordinary compared with Kyle.
Then, the image of a horse is depicted. The Catalogue of Ancient Paintings by Sheikh in Southern Qi Dynasty puts forward six methods, the first is "vivid" and the second is "writing with a pen", which is the first condition for vivid expression. The so-called "bone method" is the expression and style of the object.
Du Fu wrote that the horse's bones are "rugged and towering, shaped like a sharp sword, and outline the outline of a god", and then wrote that the horse's ears are as sharp and stiff as knives and axes, which is also the characteristic of a good horse. At this point, the horse's extraordinary possession has jumped from the paper, and we seem to see it bursting out and eager to try. The following is homeopathic writing.
The verbs "Pi" and "Ru" are extremely vivid. The former is straightforward and powerful. The latter didn't write that four hooves gave birth to wind, but that the wind entered four hooves, which had a unique charm. From the rider's feeling, it seems that when the horse is speeding, the scenery on both sides flashes rapidly and the wind whizzes between the hooves.
The poet's description is meticulous and vivid, and the couplets highlight the last word of each sentence with the rhythm of "221": "Jun" describes the spirit of the horse, and "Light" describes its galloping, all of which show the poet's ingenuity.
This part uses a lot of sketches to describe the style of the horse, omitting unnecessary details, and only writes its bone appearance, ears and Mercedes-Benz posture, because these three can best reflect the characteristics of the horse, as Zhang Yanyuan said when commenting on the painting: "The pen is just one or two, and it looks like something has been done. If you leave this painting, you will find it missing. Although the pen is not comprehensive, it must have profound meaning. " This is the so-called "history of famous paintings"
