The story behind Liu Yong

Yong Liu is a seven-character quatrain written by He, a poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. This poem is about willow trees in early spring and February. In the poem, the willow tree is used to praise the spring breeze, comparing it to scissors, saying that she is the creator of beauty and praising her for cutting out spring.

Jasper dressed up as a tree,

Ten thousand green silk tapestries hang down.

I don't know who cut off the thin leaves,

The spring breeze in February is like scissors.

He (659-744) was a poet in the Tang Dynasty. The word Ji Zhen, the word Wei Mo, the number stone window, and the number Siming fanatic in his later years, also known as the external supervisor. Ranked eighth, known as "He Ba". Yongxing (now Xiaoshan City, Zhejiang Province) is a native. Wu Zetian, a sage, awarded four doctors to Guo Zi and moved to Dr. Taichang. Later, he served as assistant minister of rites, secretary supervisor and prince guest. He is broad-minded, uninhibited and has the reputation of "talking about love". Returned to China at the age of 86. He was a poet in the early Tang Dynasty and a famous calligrapher. Most of the works have been lost, leaving only 20 poems.

The life of the character

He Zhangzhi moved to Yin Shan (now Shaoxing, Zhejiang) in his early years. When I was young, I was famous for my poems. Tang Wu later became a scholar in 695. He was first awarded Dr. Guo Zisi and later Dr. Tai Chang. In the 10th year of Kaiyuan (722), Zhang, a calligrapher of Tang Dynasty, recommended him to Tang Academy to participate in the compilation of Six Classics, Wenzong and other books, but he failed and was transferred to an official position. Thirteen-year assistant minister of rites, bachelor of Jixian Academy. Later, he was transferred to Du Shi, the son of the prince, and served as assistant minister of the Ministry of Industry. In twenty-six years, he was a guest of honor for the Crown Prince, named Dr. Yin Lu, who was also the secretary supervisor, so he was called "He Jian".
