My favorite word in this poem is the word "yes". "Yes" is a torrent, "Yes" is a small fish, "Yes" is a castle ruin, and "Yes" is an ivy. The simple word "yes" is quite different from the general figurative word "like". The self-metaphor and contrast throughout are extremely vivid, and readers unconsciously substitute the artistic conception of poetry as if they were "barren forest" and "bird" A kind of enjoyment of beauty, a kind of infatuation that touched readers' hearts, filled their minds for a long time and could not be dispersed.
The contrast of five groups of images in this poem reflects the poet's expression of two different emotions: in the first two groups, the majestic and tall image of "me" is highlighted, while "my love" is just a "small fish" swimming happily in the waves, a "bird" singing in the branches and nesting in my arms, and it is an image of an adherent and an attachment. In the latter three groups of images, however, the poet changed his writing style and described the "destruction", "trauma" and "fragmentation" of "I" with tragic mood. How earth-shattering and sincere!
Some people interpret this poem as a poem symbolizing the Great Revolution with love, and define "I" as a revolutionary soldier and "my lover" as the motherland. However, I would rather understand it as a pure love poem, just to dedicate it to my lover Yuria.
