These two sentences were written after the demise of the Northern Song Dynasty. During the fourteen years of avoiding chaos in the south of the Yangtze River, the poet hoped that the wild geese would return home every year but could not return to the north. The contrast between employing people and "plucking geese" highlights the hatred of the country's destruction. The typical image of "Sai Yan" implicitly inherits the previous statement that "there is little news from the ends of the earth", and shows the anguish of separated relatives and no news. Looking at it year after year and Fourteen Chapters highlight the long time, the pain of missing and the eagerness of hope, and take care of the above "why no one has returned", making the feelings more profound and touching.
