On Modern Poetry Teaching

"Poetry is a literary genre. Through refined, vivid and musically beautiful language, it creates a distinctive and unique image, constitutes a beautiful and far-reaching artistic conception, and can reflect social life in a highly concentrated way, express the author's thoughts and feelings, and express the author's ideal wishes. Modern poetry, on the other hand, is more unrestrained in the expression of feelings, not bound by the strict rules of old-style poetry, not paying attention to the external rules of language, but only paying attention to the internal melody and harmonious rhythm of poetry. Therefore, modern poetry teaching should start from three aspects: language, emotion and artistic conception.

First, read aloud and taste the beauty of rhythm.

Literature is the art of language, and poetry can be said to be the frontier of language art. The language of modern poetry often pays attention to refinement, image, rhythm and musical beauty. In the teaching process, we should first guide students to read poetry aloud, and then taste the language of poetry, so as to better experience the emotion of poetry and understand the artistic conception of poetry. Reading modern poetry can be divided into three steps:

A 1) first reading, accurate pronunciation and rhythm. Students are required to read the whole poem at the language level. Pronunciation should be clear, accurate and powerful, and distinguish four tones; When reflecting the rhythm and rhythm of poetry, we should make good use of stress and pause according to the content of poetry and the needs of emotional expression. Reading aloud is the same as speaking, and it is impossible to read it all at once. There should be a proper pause. On the one hand, readers need to breathe, on the other hand, listeners need to think and remember, so there should be a short pause. Modern poetry has its own characteristics, some three-word pause, some two-word pause, and a particularly strong sense of rhythm. For example, in Guo Moruo's "Fair in the Sky", the pause is wrong, because the wish in the poem refers to one thing-street lamp, not street lamp and lamp, so the rhythm pause and stress should be: far street lamp-Qing. When you pause, you should also pay attention to prolonging the pronunciation of a word before the pause. As for the length of time, it depends on the rhythm and meaning of the whole poem, so as to achieve "sound breaking meaning, words breaking feelings", just like "pen breaking meaning" in calligraphy running script. At the beginning of reading, students can consciously combine good, medium and poor. Students can read to each other in groups of four or five. Players can comment on each other, correct each other, accurately read pronunciation and rhythm, and make progress together. Practice has proved that students can completely let go of their hands and feet and let them learn independently. As long as the potential of students is tapped, that's great.

(2) Emotional reading. That is to say, in order to understand the emotional rhythm of modern poetry, students are required to carefully ponder the author's feelings in the process of reading, and express them through the priorities of reading and the cadence of tone. Therefore, teachers should pay attention to guiding students to master the level and speed of a good voice, increase the volume of stress appropriately, be natural and powerful, just right, and not delay and influence. Suddenly loud and harsh intonation will destroy the effect of reading aloud. For example, in He Jingzhi's "Back to Yan 'an", "Du Fuchuan sang to Liulin Puzi laugh/red flag waving. /white belly scarf and red belt,/relatives meet Yanhe. /full of words, can't say it, and pounce on relatives. /"These fully express the author's excitement and joy, and the feelings should be passionate and intense. When reading aloud, the rhythm should be fast and the intonation should be high and uplifting. Another example is "Bo Wen Laorenshan" in Guilin Landscape Song. Has the cloud covered the whole country for tens of thousands of years? -The cave is still around Fubo Mountain, and the treasure has been knocking on the door for a long time ... "What appears in front of me seems to be endless vicissitudes, expressing the author's feelings about Laorenshan's long history of the motherland. When reading, the pace should be slow and the tone should be low, as if "history is meditating here", like a mountain stream. You can read the feelings on the basis of the initial reading of the group and let each group member press their own. In this link, we should explore students' unique feelings and experiences of poetry as much as possible, and encourage and praise students to have their own unique opinions.

(3) repeat reading. That is, read aloud repeatedly and experience the beauty of poetry rhythm display. This requires a good grasp of the sense of weight and rhythm, and reading the emotional stress that the author wants to emphasize. For example, the beginning of Guilin Landscape Song reads:

God in the clouds, fairy in the fog,

The mountains in Guilin are the realm of immortals!

As deep as love, as beautiful as a dream,

Love is like a dream, the water of Lijiang River!

Through repeated reading, let students feel the personality of Guilin's beautiful scenery from the words "God", "Fairy", "Love" and "Dream": beautiful as a dream, confusing and wonderful. No one has ever seen a fairy, but the hazy image of a fairy in the clouds evokes people's elusive beauty, and their feelings and dreams are uncertain. In the process of reading aloud repeatedly, we can imagine the deepest love and the most beautiful dream, experience the author's feelings of loving the great rivers and mountains of the motherland, and read the feelings of language beauty from Guilin's charming landscape map. Of course, there are various forms of reading, which can be read by students individually, by several groups, by the whole class, by roles and so on. Students can also choose their favorite section or sections to read, and read out their feelings and charm. Through multi-level and multi-form reading, students can deeply understand the beauty of rhythm and rhythm of poetry. Reading aloud cultivates students' sense of their mother tongue, their understanding of poetry, their sentiment, noble sentiment and healthy aesthetic taste, thus forming correct values and positive attitude towards life. On this basis, strike while the iron is hot and lead students to a higher level of appreciation.

Second, the product is clear and the emotional beauty is tapped.

Without emotion, there is no poetry, and the feelings of poetry are contained between the lines. To understand the feelings of poetry, we can start with the emotional color of words, grasp the rich feelings contained in key words (that is, "poetic eyes"), and compare the different effects of different sentence patterns to express feelings, so as to dig out the "spring" of feelings. For example, in He Jingzhi's Back to Yan 'an, the words "grasping" and "sticking" clearly reveal the poet's deep affection for Yan 'an, and the words "not letting go" and "sticking" further push this feeling to a higher level, showing the poet's deep love and attachment to Yan 'an.

In addition, to understand the emotion of modern poetry, we can start with the analysis of the ways of expressing emotion in poetry and the various rhetorical methods used. There are basically two ways to express feelings in poetry: one is to express feelings directly, and the other is to express feelings by borrowing scenery. Poets often express their feelings (feelings) by choosing typical scenes, the most exciting moments or scenes in their lives and relying on concrete and vivid images. For example, Ai Qing's "Reef" is an image of "the reef stands upright", which means that the poet praises the indomitable struggle spirit of the oppressed people against the violence of the old world.

Third, divide the environment and experience the beauty of the environment.

Artistic conception includes "meaning" and "realm", and "meaning" means "ambition", that is, the thoughts and feelings expressed in the poem. "Scene" is the image, that is, the specific scenery and life pictures depicted in the poem. The combination of the two brings out the best in each other. It not only contains vivid images, but also contains thought-provoking thoughts and exciting feelings in the images. Therefore, artistic conception is the artistic realm of something described in the works, and it is the result of the harmony and unity of the writer's thoughts, feelings and life pictures. For example, Yu Guangzhong's Homesickness, reading this poem, readers can associate a small stamp, a narrow boat ticket, a low grave and a shallow strait with a deep homesickness, a deep attachment to the motherland and an ardent expectation for cross-strait reunification. This is the concrete and sensible image of stamps, boat tickets, graves and straits in the poem. Feeling and entering the artistic conception of poetry is a nutritious link, so that this situation in poetry can be transformed into an appropriate evaluation of students' feelings and feelings. First of all, to guide students into the artistic conception, we can stimulate students' association and imagination by creating a classroom atmosphere for poetry teaching or displaying intuitive images and pictures of poetry, or describing the contents of poetry in vivid language. In the past, these links were all operated by teachers, but in fact they were all operated by students. Especially now that information technology has been introduced into the classroom, some capable students can make corresponding courseware (including poems) according to the teacher's intention (or students' understanding), and then the teacher will apply it to the classroom, which will be more attractive to students. Students who have done Tan Jian have a sense of honor, success and curiosity, so that they can be better, deeper and higher. For example, the poem Market in the Sky can be displayed in teaching (or projection display, or video display, or stick figure sketch, or multimedia courseware display). At the same time, the teacher (or students) makes corresponding explanations, and then asks the students to close their eyes and daydream and imagine a free, happy and beautiful street life. Secondly, when understanding the artistic conception of poetry, we can understand the meaning and aesthetic value of the images created in poetry by scrutinizing language, pondering thoughts and studying rhetorical devices. We should be good at grasping the "poetic eye", that is, nutrition words, and understand their rich meanings, not only literal meanings, but also the internal meanings of words, that is, the so-called "implications".

When thinking about the conception of poetry, we should know what the poet relies on to express his feelings and express his ideals and wishes. For example, the author of "The Market in the Sky" imagines that there is a beautiful market in the sky, and there are rare treasures in the market that are not found in the world. Cowherd and Weaver Girl in the street live a free and happy life, which is quite different from the legendary story of Cowherd and Weaver Girl. It is through bold artistic imagination that the author fundamentally transformed the ancient folk story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, making the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl the embodiment of freedom and happiness and depicting a wonderful paradise. The image-building of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl in the poem has played a positive role. In teaching, teachers can make students read aloud repeatedly, then discuss in groups, and deepen their understanding of poetry through discussion-summary-summary. In this link, teachers should let go of students' hands and feet and trust their abilities and levels. Sometimes a teacher can spare a little, which will generally achieve the expected teaching effect.
