The modern poetry unit can be expanded as follows:
1. Self-reading and appreciation. Now that students have accumulated a certain amount of experience in reading modern poetry, let them use their own experience to independently read, understand, and appreciate several modern poems in the teaching material unit. Self-reading appreciation requires: reading correctly and fluently, and then reading out the rhythm and rhythm. While reading, think about the scenes and pictures described by the poet, and understand the thoughts and feelings expressed by the poet between the lines. Annotate what you understand and think of (it can be related scenes, life experiences, ancient poems or modern poems that you think of). Choose your favorite poems and verses, read them repeatedly to taste, and comment on your understanding and reasons for liking them. (The author has had the experience of leading students to read "Selected Works of Bing Xin" for the first time. During the students' independent reading process, they made many sentimental comments next to the poems in "Stars" and "Spring Water").
2. Sharing and creation. Simply share your feelings about the poetry in the textbook unit, combine it with students' sharing, and link Zhu Guangqian, Ai Qing, and Wordsworth's discussion of the characteristics and spirit of poetry in the "Exchange Platform" and "Accumulation Over Time" to understand the unique characteristics of modern poetry. Feel the richness of the ideological themes of modern poetry from the different contents of the four text poems.
