Creation of lyrics and songs

1943 Cao, 19 years old, head of the music group of the mass drama club of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Border Region Anti-Japanese and National Salvation Federation. 10 Late autumn night, Cao recalled the days when he was with everyone in the drama club and felt the warmth of living in the revolutionary ranks. Associated with the broad masses of people in the anti-Japanese base areas, under the leadership of the * * * Production Party, they overcame all kinds of difficulties and persisted in the war of resistance, and suddenly jumped out of an editorial article in Yan 'an Liberation Daily that I read the other day-"Without the * * * Production Party, there would be no China". Thinking of this, Cao wrote a sentence on a piece of paper: "Without the producer, there would be no China", and the title of the new song was born. Cao hummed while painting. After repeated revisions, the song "Without the * * * production party, there would be no China" was born.

Song naming

One day in 1950 after the founding of New China, Mao Zedong heard his daughter Li Ne sing "Without the Party, there would be no China" in Zhongnanhai, so it is unscientific and inaccurate to put forward this statement. Because China has a history of thousands of years, first there was China, then there was the * * * production party. Therefore, the word "new" should be added before "China", that is, "without the Party, there would be no new China", which is in line with historical facts. Later, the title of this song was officially defined as "Without the Party, there would be no new China".
