Second, reading guide.
This article has no specific background information, but we can understand this article according to the background of the third article.
2. This article is traditionally regarded as a "confession poem", but strictly speaking, this article has no prayer of repentance or forgiveness, so now this article is regarded as a personal mourning poem.
According to the editor of Psalm 3-6, David in Psalm 3-5 was able to escape safely because of God's salvation, and he longed to return to the holy land to worship God. However, this article shows that David slipped in deep pain and critical illness, but fortunately, he stood up again because of my salvation, the Lord God.
4. The first section "Anger in anger" is a set of parallel structures, the latter is to strengthen the tone, and so is "responsibility … punishment".
5. The original text of the second section "Xi" is "Xi". "My bones are shaking" means he is aching all over, which means he is full of pain.
6. "Turning back" in the fourth section can be translated as "changing one's mind" (translated by Lu), and "kindness" is an attribute of God related to God's redemption.
7. The focus of the fifth section is not the scene after death, but an expression of the poet, which shows that he can only worship and praise God when he is alive (maybe his illness makes him feel that he is only one step away from death). "Remembrance … Gratitude" is a set of parallel structures.
8. "My eyes are dim" in section 7 means "old and weak", which means "I am old".
Third, meditation.
1, how do we feel about the disease? Do you feel God's anger like David?
2. How do we state our pain to God in the pain of illness?
3. How can knowing God's redemptive attribute help us get out of trouble?
4. What is David's motive for saying that the dead can't thank God?
5. What made David full of confidence in the face of such a deep illness and rebuked his enemy for stepping back and leaving?
