This chapter is the beginning of the second round of dialogue. In the first dialogue, Elifa emphasized the moral perfection of God, Bildad emphasized the unshakable justice of God, and Zoroastrianism pointed out that God knows everything. In his reply, Job repeatedly defended his innocent suffering and was willing to face God.
These three friends couldn't convince him that the man had cut himself off from God, so in the new dialogue, the accusation against Job became severe. Elifa maintained a gentleman's demeanor. He first accused Job of being unwise and not saying useless words, which affected others' fear of God (section 2-6), then analyzed why he had confidence in his wisdom (section 7- 16), and finally put forward the truth that evil people must be punished (section 17-35).
Elifa thinks that Job's own views can't reach the traditional beliefs (section 10), and points out that Job always resists his comfort (section 1 1 0), and what he says is like the mouth of the wicked (section 13- 16).
Eliphaz told Job that the wicked are not all rich as Job said. Their hearts are bitter (vv. 20-24) and their fate is extremely tragic (vv. 20-35).
Eliphaz once said that Job was ignorant, as if he had "filled his belly with the east wind" (v. 2). Now he describes the evil of Job, that is, his arms are full of poison (v. 35). According to the traditional view of Eliphaz, the result of evil is the destruction of the wicked, and all human misfortunes are brought by themselves.
Job is a book in the Old Testament, with 42 chapters. It records the suffering of the righteous, the arguments between his friends and him, and the answers given by God. Finally, job was blessed more because of his turning than before he suffered. This volume of the Bible focuses on the theme of why people who behave perfectly suffer.
The Book of Job is the 18 volume of the Hebrew Bible, the first volume of the wisdom of Christian poetry in the Old Testament, and one of the oldest books in the Bible. The name job means "the object of hatred". This book tells the story of Job in the form of poetry: a man lost his property and children and suffered from serious skin diseases.
Life is hard, but Job is strong, and his patience is often regarded as an example for believers. Job is a poem and a book of wisdom. She praises the greatness of God's salvation, and she inspires people with the wisdom of salvation.
