Sorrow and indignation poem is a five-character ancient poem by Cai Wenji, a writer in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. The poem describes personal misfortunes and painful experiences, and truly reproduces the turbulent social outlook at the end of the Han Dynasty and the tragic experiences of the broad masses of the people.

He heard that Cai Yong was famous, so he invited him, made him an official, respected him very much, and even rose to the third level. Cai Yong was much better under Dong Zhuo than when he was in Emperor Han Ling.
Later, when Dong Zhuo was killed, Cai Yong remembered Dong Zhuo's kindness to him and sighed. But this annoyed Stuart Wang Yun, thinking that he was a henchman of Dong Zhuo, and arrested him. Although many court ministers interceded for him, Wang Yun still disagreed and died in prison.
