Seven kinds of poems

The seven categories of poetry are ancient poems, modern poems, Yuefu poems, frontier poems, pastoral poems, poems about objects and poems about history.

3. Yuefu poetry

Yuefu poetry is a form of poetry music collected or created by Yuefu institutions in Han Dynasty, which mostly reflects folk life and emotions. Yuefu poems are simple and natural in language, vivid in image, harmonious in tone and lively in words. Representative works include Peacock Flying Southeast and Mulan Ci.

4. frontier poems

Frontier fortress poetry is a form of poetry with the theme of describing frontier fortress scenery and military life, which mostly appeared in Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. Frontier fortress poems show the lofty aspirations of scholars to make contributions and defend their country, and also express their sadness of leaving their homes and relatives and the tragic war.
