Author: Fei Ming
When you walk into the street, cars will pass by.
There is loneliness in the mailbox.
Mailbox PO
But I can't remember the car number x,
There are Arabic numerals alone,
Cars are lonely,
Lonely streets,
The loneliness of human beings.
When the poet was walking into the street, a car passed by. The noise of the motor faded away, and the street became quiet after the noise. He suddenly saw a mailbox standing alone on the sidewalk opposite. The two English letters PO(PO is the abbreviation of post office) on the mailbox looked at him coldly like a pair of big round eyes, looking at everything in the silent street.
He remembers the car that passed just now. It came and went in such a hurry that it didn't even notice its license plate number. It will always be an unknown x; Maybe I will never see this car again in my life. If I do, I'm afraid I won't recognize it. It is so sad, so unnoticed that it can't leave a mark on people's hearts.
So the poet felt sorry for the Arabic numeral of this number and thought it was too lonely. It took a trip in the street for nothing and met the poet for nothing. The poet felt that the car across the street was empty and the deserted street was lonely. And everything around here, even the whole mankind, is as lonely as here.

Street is a new poem by Fei Ming, a modern novelist. This poem is about the poet's loneliness when he is walking in the street. Through the impromptu combination of images such as "car", "po", "mailbox" and "number", the theme of loneliness is formally strengthened. The language of this poem is extremely popular, but the poetic thought expressed is extremely profound, which better embodies Fei Ming's artistic personality of cherishing intuition and obsessed with metaphysics.
