Mount Namunani has the largest glacier group in the western Himalayas of China. The glacier around the peak area consists of three crystal clear ice towers, just like a palace in a fairy tale. As early as a century ago, this area was noticed by explorers all over the world. Since the British Tom, George and Lance first tried to climb Mount Namunani in 1905, mountaineers from Japan, Austria and many other countries have tried many times, but all failed. 1On May 26th and 28th, 985, Jin Jixi, Song Lingongzang and other three members of the Sino-Japanese joint mountaineering team/kloc-0 successfully climbed the Zhalong Malongba Glacier for the first time along the northwest slope of Namunani Peak. There are two routes into the mountain: one is from Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to the south, along the Xinzang Highway, passing through Yecheng Shiquan River to Pulan, with a total length of 3,044 kilometers; The other is from Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, to the west, passing through Shigatse, Saga and Pulan, with a total length of 1433 km.
Early in the morning, the morning light illuminates the graceful face of Munani Peak. Mount Nishan in Mu Na, which means "Mount of the Virgin" in Tibetan, is located in Pulan County, Ali region, Tibet, with an altitude of 7694 meters, which is the highest peak in China in the western Himalayas. The mysterious Namunani Peak is a world of glaciers, where a large number of glaciers are distributed.
At the foot of the snow peak in Namunani, the horse's edge in winter is unusually holy. Yongcuo in Mabian is one of the highest freshwater lakes in the world, with an altitude of 4588 meters. Its lake is crystal clear, and its transparency ranks first in China, reaching 14m. In the minds of Tibetans, Mabian Yongcuo ranks before Namco and Yang Zhuo Yongcuo, and is the first of the three holy lakes in Tibet. The main water supply for Yongcuo in Mabian is the snow water from the Mu Na Ni Glacier.
The first time I saw Mount Namnani, I felt its mystery. On the south bank of Yongcuo, the blue "Holy Lake", the Mu Na Peak looms, making people unable to see its true colors.
The Mu Na Ni peak is about100km away from GangB?rge Ring, the main peak of Gangdise Mountain, and the two peaks are opposite. Compared with the famous "Holy Mountain" Gangrinboqi, the Mu Na Ni Peak is unknown, but the Mu Na Ni, which means "Mount of the Virgin" in Tibetan, is said to be the mother of Gangrinboqi.
From the foot of kangrinboqe Mountain, overlooking the Mu Na Ni Peak, the majestic Xuefeng rises into the sky. The outstretched arms of the mountain statue hold the famous "Holy Lake" Mabian Yongcuo and "Ghost Lake" Laangcuo in their arms. Mountains and lakes set each other off into interest, dazzling and giving people infinite reverie.
