Zheng Zhenduo (duó)( 1898~ 1958) was born in Changle, Fujian. 192 1 organized a literary research conference with Shen Yanbing and others, and went to the Commercial Press to do editing work in the same year. 1923 Editor-in-Chief of Novel Monthly. 193 1, professor in yenching university and Jinan university successively, editor-in-chief of Literature Quarterly and Universal Library. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), he served as Vice Minister of Culture and Director of National Cultural Heritage Administration. He wrote new poems and novels in his early years, and then engaged in the study of literary history.
