Emperor Taizong was deeply meditated by Emperor Gaozu Li Yuan, who was named Emperor Yao. Yaochan is located in Shun, so it is a metaphor for Emperor Taizong.

Translation:
The tower of Ci 'en Temple rises above the blue sky, and the strong wind keeps blowing.
Without an open-minded person's mind,
Climbing this building will bring a lot of sadness.
When you climb the Ci 'en Temple Tower, you will know the great power of Buddhism.
You can conceive excellent works and explore the scenic spots.
I walked through the winding ramp on my back, only to get out of the dark place where the branches are staggered, and
I finally climbed to the top floor.
Looking up at the Big Dipper on the tower at night seems to be in the north window of the tower.
It seems that you can hear the sound of the Milky Way flowing westward.
Climbing the tower and looking up at the sky during the day, xi he whipped the sun to the west,
Shao Hao, the god of autumn, brought clear autumn to the world.
When you look down at the mountains in the south, if they suddenly break into pieces, it is difficult to separate the water from the muddy water.
Looking from top to bottom, it's just a blank space.
How can you tell where Chang 'an is the capital?
Looking back and calling for Yu Shun the Great,
I saw a gloomy cloud rising in the land of Cangwu, the tomb of Yu Shun.
what a pity! In those days, King Mu and Queen Mother were drinking and having fun in Yaochi, Kunlun, and < P > actually drank until night arrival at the head of Kunlun Mountain.
The orioles kept flying away one by one.
There was a lot of mourning, and I didn't know where to go.
Look at those geese chasing after the sun and warming up.
They each have their own tricks to make a living.
Appreciation:
This poem was written by Du Fu in the autumn of Tianbao 11th year (752) when he climbed the Ci 'en Temple Tower. Jionji was built for Tang Gaozong's mother when he was a prince, so it was called Ci 'en. It was built in the 21st year of Zhenguan (647). The pagoda was built by Xuanzang in the third year of Yonghui (652), and it is called Big Wild Goose Pagoda, with six floors. In the first year of Dazu (71), it was rebuilt and increased to seven floors, which is in the southeast of Xi 'an. This poem has a note: Shi Gaoshi and Xue Ji wrote it first. In addition, Cen Can and Chu Guangxi also wrote poems. This poem by Du Fu is a masterpiece among the poems on the same topic.
the high standard crosses the sky, and the gale never stops. At the beginning of the poem, the language is strange and the spirit is extraordinary. Talking about the high standard instead of the high tower reminds people of the treetops that go straight into the sky described by the high standard sentence of Yang Bird's back wing in Zuo Si's Shu Du Fu, and the towering peaks described by high, as on a tall flag, six dragons drive the sun's sentence in Li Bai's Shu Dao Nan. Here, I use the high standard to say that the tower is high. Say the sky instead of the sky, that is, outline the dome shape of the sky. With a cross word, it is closely connected with the sky. The sky is dome-shaped, so you can cross it. This exaggeration is not enough, and it leads to a strong wind to set off. The wind is strong and never stops, and the tower is extremely high. Since he is not broad-minded, Denz has turned over a hundred worries, and the two words are euphemistic and not without cynicism. The poet didn't say that he couldn't stand the violent wind blowing and caused all kinds of worries, but took a step away and said that he was not as elegant as a broad-minded man. He climbed the tower and looked down at China, with mixed feelings and endless worries in his heart. At that time, the Tang dynasty was still on the surface of crowing and dancing, but in fact it was in danger. It is this political crisis that I feel worried about the gale. Worry deeply and think far, which is beyond the reach of other public works.
In the next four sentences, I put aside all my worries and started another wave, and turned to describe the temple tower building. You know, Chengdengzi, fine needle and dense thread, compact connection. Elephant teaching is Buddhism, and Buddhism teaches people with images, so it is called elephant teaching. Searching in the dark means exploring in the high and deep, which means meditation and imagination. Chasing is climbing. Because the pagoda is the product of worshipping Buddhism, it has become a symbol of Buddhist power here. Only when you know the power of elephant teaching can you chase the ghost and search for a few words. You praise the strange and magnificent temple tower building, and you say that it is wonderful and wonderful. Writing here, I used an amazing pen to point out the tower and highlight the wonders of the tower. Going up through the Dragon and Snake Cave and climbing up along the narrow, tortuous and deep steps is like going through the cave of the Dragon and Snake: the branches begin to support you, bypass the jagged dark beams in the tower and climb to the top of the tower, and then you will suddenly be enlightened. These two sentences not only take care of the high standard, but also lead to the top of the tower overlooking, and the writing is natural and rigorous.
standing at the top of the tower is like being in the fairy palace. The seven stars are in the north door, and I seem to see the Big Dipper flashing outside the north window: the sound of rivers and rivers flowing westward seems to ring in my ears. The Milky Way is waterless and silent. Here, it is compared to the river on earth, which leads to the sound of water and is wonderful. The second sentence is about the imaginary night scene. Then turn around and write about the temporary dusk scenery. Xi he whips the day, and Shao Hao goes to clear autumn. The time is dusk, and the season is autumn. Xi he is the god who drives Japanese cars. According to legend, he drives a car pulled by six dragons and carries the sun in the air. The author gallops through his imagination here and transforms this myth. Instead of six dragons running with the sun, xi he runs with the sun. He thinks the sun runs slowly, and he whips the sun with a whip to urge it to run quickly. Shao Hao, the legendary son of the Yellow Emperor, is the god in charge of autumn. He is promoting autumn season and is in charge of autumn scenery on earth. The arrival of these two periods coincided with the specific time of sunset in the clear autumn, which created an atmosphere for the following lyricism.
Next, it is the focus of the whole article to write what you can see from the top down, thus causing feelings. Qinshan is suddenly broken, and it is impossible to find it. Looking down but angry, how can you distinguish Huangzhou? The poet writes in combination with what he saw when he climbed the tower, and has something to place in the scenery. Qinshan refers to Zhongnanshan and Qinling Mountains. Looking at the flat land, you can only see a piece of green, while looking at the tower, the mountains are mixed in size and ups and downs, and the earth seems to be cut into many pieces. Jingshui is turbid and Weishui is clear. However, from the tower, we can't tell which is Jingshui and which is Weishui, and the turbidity is confused. Look at Huangzhou (the capital Chang 'an) again, only to see a hazy. These four sentences describe the scene of dusk, but they have another meaning. They tell that the mountains and rivers are broken, the turbidity is indistinguishable, Kyoto is hazy, and politics is dim. This is echoing all worries. As a Mirror: In the eleventh year of Tianbao, Shang (Xuanzong) relied on his own peace in his later years, thinking that there was nothing to worry about in the world, so he lived deep in the forbidden city and entertained himself with music, knowing that he was entrusted with political affairs in (Li) Lin Fu. Lin Fu flatters others, greets the meeting, so as to solidify his favor. Put an end to speech, cover up intelligence, and become a traitor; Jealous of the virtuous and ill-able, to suppress and overcome oneself, in order to protect their position; Repeatedly set up a prison, and chased your ministers to show their potential. Anyone who has been in the phase for nineteen years has developed chaos in the world. Du Fu has seen this situation, so he has a lot of worries.
the following eight sentences are feelings. It is precisely because of the political darkness and crisis in the imperial court that I remember the era of Emperor Taizong. Looking back, I called Yu Shun, and Cangwuyun was worried. The tower is in the southeast area of Chang 'an. Looking down at Chang 'an above, it faces northwest. Now it looks down at Cangwu in the south, so we should look back. Emperor Yao, the God of Tang Gaozu, was called Yu Shun because of his inner meditation. Shun buried Cangwu, compared with Zhaoling of Taizong. The clouds are worrying, and writing about the clouds above Zhaoling seems to be worrying about the political confusion in the Tang Dynasty. One is called Zi, which shows Du Fu's deep nostalgia for the Qingming period of Taizong's politics. The next two sentences trace back to the past, which leads to the present: cherish the Yaochi drink, and enjoy the Kunlun hills in the day. Drink in Yaochi, Volume 4 of Biography of Mu Tianzi, and record Zhou Muwang's desire for the Queen Mother of the West on Yaochi, Liezi. Zhou Muwang said that Zhou Muwang rose to the hill of Kunlun Mountain, so he was invited to the Queen Mother of the West, perched on the Yaochi, and was a place to watch the sun. Here refers to Tang Xuanzong and Yang Guifei having a banquet in Lishan, leading a dissolute life. The combination of the sun and the sunset is a metaphor that the Tang Dynasty will fall into danger. This echoes the four broken sentences of Qinshan, and the statement is full of worries. It is precisely because Xuanzong handed over the political affairs to Li Linfu, and Li pai suppressed the talents, so Huang Gu kept going and moaning. Talented people were rejected one by one, so they had to leave the court and whine like an oriole, and there was nowhere to go. Finally, the poet wrote indignantly: You look at the wild geese, and each has his own plan, criticizing people who are so dependent on the situation, just like migratory birds who migrate with the warmth of the sun, only paying attention to making a living and pursuing self-interest.
The whole poem is full of scenes and feelings, with far-reaching implications. Qian Qianyi said: There is a high standard and fierce wind, and Denz is full of worries, and there is a fear of drifting and collapsing, and it is booming. It's impossible to find a beautiful scenery, and Chang 'an is indistinguishable, so when I look back, I think it's called Yu Shun, Yaochi Riyan, saying that the world will be chaotic, but feasting can't be normal, which explains the whole intention. Because of this, this poem became an important work in the poet's early creation.
