Therefore, I think the textbooks on new poetry should be revised.
Xu Zhimo, Bing Xin, Guo Moruo, Dai Wangshu, Ai Qing, Guo Xiaochuan, and even Bei Dao and Shu Ting may not represent the highest achievements of new poetry.

In the past, poetry was the kind of discourse system that was said in the conference, on the stage, in the classroom and in the spotlight. You need to dress appropriately and speak loudly and casually. In other words, today's poetic language can be as cordial, natural and sincere as the conversation between drunken friends or lovers in bed.

Respect the ancients and inherit them, but don't deify them. As far as my work experience in the front line of poetry is concerned, the ten people mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg, far from being the most accomplished at present. Therefore, I think that in the past ten years, the achievements of China's new poetry have reached or even surpassed those of Tang or Song. Actually, this is normal. Our pen and paper are improving, our publishing channels are improving, our language and ideas are being liberated, and our writing population is growing by a hundredfold. In addition, there are skills and experiences of classic works from all over the world for us to learn and use. And this land, lacking oil and fairness, has never lacked genius.

These days, almost all people who write poems with their souls and lives are soldiers.
They get very little and give up a lot. They must fight against the world, the trend, life, money and power, vanity and depravity, and even their relatives and friends. Because of this, the texture of their poems can be trusted.
Fortunately, the unfortunate poets in this country probably mean this.
