Classical duality

Classical duality is an ancient literary form, which is very common in China ancient literature.

The characteristics of classical poetry include:

1, formal echo: classical poetry usually echoes in words, rhythm, meter and so on. The words used in two or more poems are the same or similar, and the phonology echoes, sometimes even adopting the same poetic style and verse structure, forming a symmetrical aesthetic feeling.

2. Content contrast: Classical antithetical poems highlight their differences and dialectical relations by comparing two or more different themes, emotions or images. Contrast can be positive and negative contrast, opposite contrast, corresponding contrast and other forms, expressing richer and deeper significance.

3. Transmission of theme ideas: Classical antithetical poems usually focus on specific theme ideas and express the connotation of the theme more clearly and deeply by means of comparison and echo. These themes may involve philosophy of life, social morality, emotional experience and so on.

4. Concise and concise language: Classics usually pursue conciseness in poetry and express profound thoughts or feelings in a few words. They often use rhetorical devices, symbolic images and metaphors to impress readers in an accurate and simple way.

Representative dual poems

1, Du Fu's Remembering Brothers on a Moonlit Night and Li Bai, two poems written by famous poets in the Tang Dynasty, depict their feelings of missing their loved ones on a moonlit night by comparison. Among them, Li Bai's poems and songs are full of heroic and unrestrained momentum, while Du Fu pays more attention to the expression of true feelings.

2. Su Shi's Flowers Chun Qing and Li Qingzhao's Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams, Dreams. Su Shi's poems express the vitality and vigor of spring scenery with bold and natural brushwork, while Li Qingzhao blends spring scenery into personal feelings, forming a soft and graceful artistic conception.

3. There are two feelings in Xin Qiji's "Partridge Tour Yueyang Tower" and Lu You's "Going out of the fence to meet the cold in autumn night". One is these two antithetical poems in Song Dynasty, both of which express personal feelings and thoughts. Xin Qiji's poems reflect his uninhibited personality and ambition to express his ambition, while Lu You pays more attention to inner thinking and touching social reality.
