Spirituality is the life of the poet. Heaven and earth are responsible for the movement of Qi. Heaven represents the emptiness of Qi, and earth represents the solidity of Qi. If the two instruments are not supplemented, the virtual and the real will not be overcome, the energy will be extinguished and the spirit will be scattered, the meridians and bones will not be restored, and the spiritual energy will be lost! Therefore, poets stand between heaven and earth. Those who understand heaven and earth are great, those who stick to one end are stingy, and those who stick to one thing or another are mediocre. From classical Chinese to vernacular, there is a change in context, but people's thinking level has not improved. What has increased is the level of discovery and deduction; fire is still fire, and water is still water. The high realm of poetry should advance both into people's hearts and national memories. That is the only best way to gain enlightenment. Once enlightenment is achieved, it will be natural. Any doctrine is superfluous. Various isms only emphasize certain aspects of poetry and hinder people's pure eyes. Poetry, like culture, has only one, and that is the living environment of the nation. There is no so-called before and after. Therefore, the poet's feet must stand on the land of the nation and be inserted into the soil. Everything from the outside must be filtered and quenched through the national soil layer without careful discrimination. The elements that rise into the blood are pathologically distorted; hybridization and optimized species exist, but they are not universal. Dogma exists in poetry, but poets do not Dogma exists. Politics and poetry are related, and both pursue freedom, but the poet does not believe in either of them. What the poet needs is uncontaminated freedom, absolute freedom.
