Writer Mei Jie's Prose: Full of Nostalgia

Li Jiang, a friend of Zhu Xi's, posted a group of WeChat nostalgia in Daoxiang. Open your eyes, a large area of mature rice fields, golden yellow, crawling on the land, the quiet time of the countryside has come. Under the blue sky, the nursery rhyme of milk rings-

The spring breeze turns green again.

Willow Ye Er hangs down.

Google rang.

Mom went out to work.

The autumn wind turned yellow.

Some pieces of rice are cooked.

The goose is screaming.

Mom will be back soon.

The baby's heart is drunk.

Listening to the nursery rhyme "Looking forward to Mom's Return", I shed tears.

What makes me feel warm is that I saw the scene of a woman cutting rice and a man threshing in the field, and I shed tears in the man's "squeaking" voice. I don't know if it's because I saw my distant hometown and remembered my childhood, or because of something else. But I know that homesickness deeply wet my heart at that moment. I immediately replied to Li Jiang's WeChat: "Rice fields and folk songs fascinate me. My eyes are wet when I watch and listen, and my homesickness is already sad ... "

I made a request to Li Jiang: Can I go to the field to cut rice for a while after I go home? Li Jiang agreed, and he replied, "Your love for your hometown crossed Qian Shan and reached Zhuxi ..."

It has been more than half a century since I left Yunyang in northwest Hubei. So far, I have regarded the six counties (cities, districts) belonging to the former government as my hometown, and Zhuxi should be among them.

In September, with deep homesickness, I set foot on the land of Zhuxi.

Walking and watching by off-road vehicle, crossing eight towns and villages in Zhuxi in two days. When the car drove into Hongyangou Village, Quanxi Town, the valley on the right side of the road was golden. Farmers by the roadside are cutting rice and grain in the fields. Li Jiang stopped the car and shouted excitedly, "Miss Mei, hurry up and go to the cereal!" Thank Li Jiang for thinking of my simple wish. When I ran and jumped into the field, when I carefully picked up the sickle to cut off the blue and yellow rice stalks, when I knocked the grain to the ground again with great effort, a feeling that lingered for a long time boiled in my heart, what a familiar and distant memory! The astringent and moist smell of crops and soil, the bitter and tired figure of mom and dad, and the drama of catching insects from rolled rice leaves when I was a child ... came to my mind together for a long time.

When we arrived at Tongqinggou in Zhongfeng Town, an unexpected and greater touch appeared.

Tongqinggou appeared in front of us like an ink painting.

Farmhouses with white walls and blue tiles are next to each other, located in the middle of golden rice fields. Green hills surround the village. A stream flows through the village, and several birds are singing in the branches. Tongqinggou is as quiet as a wisp of Shan Ye.

Walking into the village, the streets, alleys, houses and yards are all clean and spotless, and there are classified garbage bags in front of every house. Even in the rice harvest season, there are no sundries on the village roads. Outside the farmhouse or on the main wall of the hall, there are many plaques and calligraphy and paintings: "Peace at home", with a big "harmony" in the middle, round and beaming; "Good songs are sung", a big word "good", is associated with good luck; And "filial piety of all virtues comes first", a big word of "filial piety", carries thousands of years of virtue. ...

Standing on the edge of the village, I saw the gable walls of the houses far and near, all of which were impressively written with huge characters such as "diligence, kindness, filial piety, virtue, courtesy and faithfulness", highlighting the essence of national culture. I suddenly feel that we have entered a village where traditional culture has returned.

In Tongqinggou, many families make plaques and painted signboards out of genealogy or "family rules and family instructions" and hang them solemnly in their houses or courtyards. We stood in front of Liu's former residence for a long time, with respect, silently reading Liu's "family rules and family instructions" written on bronze boards:

Father, son, filial piety, brother, friend, and brother's family are not allowed to fry beans; Respect the elderly, respect the virtuous, and be like a family. Be reasonable, be filial, and not violate ethics; Be careful to pursue the glory of your ancestors, and there must be no behavior that insults your family style; Abide by the law, love the country and the family, and must not commit acts that endanger the country and the people.

Xu, secretary of the Party branch of Tongqinggou Village, told reporters that the Liu family moved from Hunan during the reign of Qing Qianlong. Later, it became a big local family and produced a lot of talents. There are still people who are important leaders of prefecture-level cities. Reading the Family Instructions of the Liu family, I thought with awe that the Chinese nation has come a long way for thousands of years. Don't these "family precepts" maintain the integrity of a nation? Don't countless ordinary lives follow these "family rules and family instructions" and achieve the meaning of life?

Xu said that there are more than 30 families with ancient genealogy in Tongqinggou village, and each family copied the family rules and instructions on the wall as a behavioral alarm. Fu Shuo, a friend of Zhuxi who accompanied him, according to incomplete statistics, there are more than 400 families in Zhuxi who have preserved ancient genealogy.

This is an amazing number and an amazing phenomenon! Once upon a time, we had a long-term process of digesting traditional culture, and a culture that was originally warm by genealogy, ancestral hall and academy culture was destroyed. When the genealogy and ancestral temple disappear in this land, our spirit will be at ease? What is the heart?

After experiencing the twists and turns of history and reality, Tongqinggou people and even the whole Zhuxi people have found their own spiritual outlet, and they want to give life new meaning with the help of the power buried in the depths of time by their ancestors. Since 20 12, Zhuxi county government has taken advantage of the trend and carried out the activity of "family rules and family training into thousands of families" throughout the county. They integrated the collected family rules and family instructions of more than 20 famous families in ancient times with modern civilization, and established a unified database of family rules and family instructions on Zhu Xi Civilization Network. They produced more than 1 10,000 calligraphy and paintings and family rules and family instruction plaques, and presented them to more than 7,000 families in urban and rural areas. It has become an ethos in Zhuxi County to establish family rules, revise family precepts, establish village rules and regulations, and tell the stories of people around you well.

A number of typical family styles, such as "loving mother and dutiful son", "good mother-in-law", "good daughter-in-law" and "good people in Zhuxi", reproduce the gentle brilliance of traditional virtues. Wang, who married her father-in-law, Zuo, who supported her mother-in-law, and Ke Yuchu, who took care of the widowed elderly for more than 20 years, all became well-known grassroots stars.

I am amazed that the ancient civilization contains such great vitality here, and it is so deeply connected with the heart of heaven and earth, with the years of ancestors, and with deep homesickness.

We stopped at a display board in the village. There are more than 20 color photos of students admitted to Tsinghua, Peking University, Beijing Institute of Technology and other universities and key high schools. Nowadays, Tongqinggou has become the life calendar of young people, which means nurturing, loving nature, advocating knowledge and striving for self-improvement.

Zhuxi people's position of respecting traditional culture and quiet creative attitude make Zhuxi's rural construction unique.

Standing in the middle of newly harvested rice fields in Tongqinggou village, I took a photo. Golden rice fields stretch before my eyes, green hills rise behind me, and smoke clouds fly in the forest. At that moment, I felt that my homesickness was almost rampant. ...

I think this will be my eternal memory of Tongqinggou.
