Modesty in watching the rain and appreciating poetry
Yu Qian (1398- 1457) was born in Qiantang, Zhejiang. A famous strategist and politician in Ming Dynasty, after the Revolution of 1911, Yu Qian made Zhu Qiyu emperor and led the army and people to defend Beijing. After the British Restoration, Yu Qian was killed for "treason" in the first year of Tianshun (1457). During the Chenghua period, he was reinstated and offered sacrifices.
