I hate to see thousands of families crossing the north and south neighbors.

The government has a bottom, and who is it?

Vernacular translation:

Meet with the official family of Gaotang Deep Academy, and often go in and out of the upper class in the north and south.

People who seek fame and gain often go in and out of the government, but who are those hermits scattered in the mountains?

Goodbye, Hou, and I'll talk to you about a pair.

It is better to plow south acres than to lie high in the east window.

Vernacular translation:

Some people will soon be able to seal up thousands of families and get a pair of jade jewels during the conversation.

How can this be compared with Nanmu's secluded farming, and how can it be compared with the leisurely life when it comes to the news?

At the intersection of Cailing River, the clouds are surging and the forest falls in the west.

Fisherman by apricot tree altar, family in peach blossom garden.

Vernacular translation:

Go boating with diamonds to experience the high wind on the ferry, and go to the west of the forest with crutches to watch the sunset.

I am a fisherman by the apricot tree altar, that is, the family who lives in Taohuayuan.

Spring grass is lush, autumn grass is lush, and pine trees grow in Xia Han.

Cattle and sheep return to the village lane, and young people don't know how to dress.

Vernacular translation:

Whether in spring or autumn, the vegetation is lush, and the tall pine trees bring shade in summer.

At night, cattle and sheep are free to return to the village head lane, and the children in the village don't know the official clothes.

There is a lonely village at the foot of the mountain and a lonely plateau on the horizon.

A swallow flies back to the alley, and Mr. Wu or Liu faces the door.

In the distance, there is a quiet village lying on the hillside. The scattered eaves and corners are tilted under the shade of green trees, and a wisp of kitchen smoke rises between them.

Living in a simple and hard environment like Yan Hui, living next door to noble scholars like Tao Qian.

Hearts also contain fresh rain overnight, green willows and a touch of spring smoke.

The children at home have not been driven away, and the oriole singing the song of idleness is still sleeping.

Vernacular translation:

There are still rain beads left on the petals of peach blossoms last night. After the rain, the willows are green and shrouded in morning smoke.

Petals were scattered all over the garden by the rain, the children haven't cleaned, Oriole is singing, and the hikers are still sleeping soundly.

Come to the spring when drinking, and relax when holding the piano.

The South Garden is exposed, and the East Valley is at night.

Vernacular translation:

I happened to meet a mountain spring when I was drinking. When I am drunk, I like to hold my piano and lean against the tall pine tree.

In the morning, I go to Nanyuan to pick sunflower seeds, and in the evening, I come to Donggu to pound Huangliang.

Seven Pastoral Songs is Wang Wei's later works. In the later period, Wang Wei basically held an indifferent attitude towards reality. At first, he lived in seclusion, and later he had a villa in Wangchuan, Lantian, Song Dynasty. His life is more leisurely. He "played the piano and made poems with Taoist friends Pei Di and Uighur" and went to fast and read Buddha. "After retiring from the DPRK, he burned incense and sat alone to meditate."

This group of poems shows the endless pleasure of getting close to nature after the author retired to Wangchuan, and also reflects the artistic realm of the author's pastoral poetry creation and his spiritual track after retiring to nature. It fully embodies Wang Wei's poetic characteristics of "painting in poetry", which is a rare artistic treasure and an important material for future generations to study Wang Wei's ideological development and poetry creation.

Although most of the poems in Pastoral Music are quiet, the environment described is cold and the artistic conception expressed is empty. However, the scenery described in the poem is beautiful, and the feelings reflected are all love and praise for nature. Therefore, Wang Wei's yearning for a "quiet" environment is inseparable from his personal love for nature and life.
