How to guide students to understand the artistic conception in poetry

(A) into the author, explore the artistic conception

The creation of poems, especially ancient poems, is far away from us, and the works reflect the author's thoughts and feelings. As the saying goes, "poetry expresses ambition", knowing the author's life and life background will help students enter the artistic conception of poetry more quickly.

For example, when I taught Han Yu's poem "Moving Left to the Orchid Crown to Show Grandnephew's Neck", I didn't introduce the author and the background of the work. I only familiarized the students with it a few times, and then explained it sentence by sentence, with special emphasis on "where is the home of Yunheng Qinling?" The snow is holding the green horse back, "explaining that these two sentences reveal deep sentimental feelings, express sad state affairs, and care about the sadness of family members." Students listen and remember, but when asked if they really understand the poet's feelings and the artistic conception of poetry, they can't say clearly. Because they knew nothing about the author and writing background, they just listened passively and didn't really understand the connotation of the work, so I added the background of Han Yu's writing this poem to the students. After listening to the supplementary introduction of the background, the students no longer seem confused and can understand the sadness contained in the poem.

Through the above examples, we can easily see that it is an essential link to guide students to explore the artistic conception of poetry, enter the author and enter his writing background.

(B) enter the keywords to understand the artistic conception

Reading any work, you can't analyze it in pieces. So is reading poetry. The method of sentence-by-sentence analysis, even explaining the poem in vernacular, destroys the artistic beauty of the work and is meaningless. To understand the artistic conception of poetry, we should grasp the key words, start with the words, analyze what is written in the work, how the author describes these things, and clarify how these things are related, so as to form a complete picture in our minds and then walk into the artistic conception conveyed by this picture.

For example, if we literally understand the first couplet in Du Fu's Dream of Spring, "Although the country is divided, mountains and rivers remain forever, and trees and grass reappear in spring" is simple and clear. Just write that the capital has fallen, the mountains and rivers are still there, and the spring seedlings in Beijing are desolate. Yes, but to really understand the artistic conception, we should guide students to grasp the key words and then drive them away from their imagination. The fall of Beijing used the word "broken", which was shocking, followed by the word "deep", which was bleak everywhere. "Spring in the city" should be beautiful and pleasant, but here is a desolate scene with "deep vegetation". So these two sentences add a deep sadness to the whole poem. Faced with the present situation, the poet looks at the flowers and tears, and listens to the birds. Look at the last two sentences: "After three months of war, a letter from home is worth a ton of gold", the word "Lian" shows that the "An Shi Rebellion" lasted for a long time, and the word "Dao" shows the author's yearning for "letters from home". Pay attention to the tail couplet, the country is ruined, the fire is everywhere, the family letter is blocked, the poet's white hair is thinner, and the bun can't be inserted. In this way, grasping several key words of the whole poem for analysis, we will see the image of an aging and white-haired poet in front of us.

It can be seen that guiding students to grasp key words and understand the thoughts and feelings expressed by the author in his works will make the understanding of poetic artistic conception more real and profound.

(C) into the image, appreciate the artistic conception

The image of poetry is the fusion of the poet's thoughts and feelings and objective images, while the artistic conception is the artistic realm of poetry created by the combination of various images. Therefore, when it comes to the artistic conception of poetry, we can't help but talk about the image of poetry, because it is an indispensable and important element or condition that constitutes the artistic conception of poetry.

For example, in Qiu Si, Tianjingsha, Ma Zhiyuan, "Old vines, small bridges, flowing water, people's old roads and thin horses ..." Among them, "Old vines, dim crows, small bridges and flowing water, old roads and thin horses in the west wind" is a typical image. The author uses the superposition of images to render a bleak and desolate atmosphere, thus embodying the protagonist. This seemingly simple combination of images can have a strong artistic appeal and hit people's hearts directly. It can be said that "there is a real meaning in it, and I forgot what to argue."

It can be seen that grasping the image, repeatedly trying to figure out and appreciate the image is the key to understand the author's thoughts and feelings and smoothly enter the artistic conception of poetry.

(4) Enter association and imagination to explore the artistic conception of poetry.

If poetry is a bird soaring in the sky, then association and imagination are often indispensable wings. Once you lose one of them, you lose half your life force. The author always transforms his thoughts and feelings from association and imagination into concrete images and appeals to language in his creation. How to guide students to use association and imagination to explore the artistic conception of poetry through these words?

First, inspire students to recreate their imagination and deeply understand poetry and painting. There is no art without imagination, and there is no re-creation of artistic appreciation without imagination. Reading poems with beautiful artistic conception needs to stimulate students' rich imagination and better understand the author's emotions in the rich imagination. Li Qingzhao's "Like a Dream" and "Always Remember the Sunset in Xiting ...", with several beautiful and moving pictures, bring readers into the artistic conception of quiet beauty and blend their feelings into the scenery. Readers can share the poet's feelings about natural beauty in rich imagination and experience the poet's leisurely feelings and artistic conception. The author creates a beautiful artistic conception with beautiful language and beautiful image.
