General situation of Gobi Altai province

It was founded in 193 1, formerly known as Altai province, and was revoked in 1935 and merged into Zabuhan province. 1940 restored the province and renamed it Gobi Altai province.

Gobi Altai Province is located in the west of Mongolia, east of Altai Mountains, with Cobudo in the southwest, Zabukhan in the north, Bayanhongor Province in the east and China in the south. The whole province has a land area of 6,543.8+0.42 million square kilometers and a population of 7,654.38+0.7 million. Altai, the provincial capital, is located in the southwest of Ulaanbaatar 100 1 km with a population of about 20 1 10,000. The whole province is divided into 17 counties and 89 myna (townships).
