On the Artistic Features of Su Shi's Poems

Speaking of literary giants in the Northern Song Dynasty, Su Men and his son played an important role. Speaking of Su Men and his son, of course, I have to say Su Shi.

? What are the characteristics of this man who occupied half of the literature in the Northern Song Dynasty? To sum up, there are the following three points:

First, writing poetry is one of Su Shi's remarkable characteristics.

? The prose culture of poetry is not the right way to create poetry, but Su Shi's talent is too strong to give anything, which makes it a means to show off his talent and cheer up his spirit. In fact, Su Shi's "writing as poetry" is based on talent and success.

Second, learning is poetry, which is reflected in being argumentative and fond of using allusions. Su Shi consciously put arguments into poetry and combined the image feeling of things with philosophical thinking. Compared with how to swim in Mianchi's homesickness, he turned natural phenomena and life perception into rational reflection and rose to profound philosophy.

Third, poetry has diverse styles, and seven-character poems are good at it. There are two basic styles, one is vigorous and graceful, the other is bold and simple, open and free. However, as far as Su Shi's broad-minded character is concerned, lofty is the dominant tendency of his poetic style, that is, a verve and aesthetic realm that transcends secular fetters. For example, "Dongpo" describes the calmness and self-adaptation of walking alone on a barren slope night, showing the calm and broad-minded feelings in adversity, and the wind leads to detachment.

? No wonder, Su Shi was honored as "Poet God" by the world.
