The Ammonites, Moab and Edom are enemies of the flesh, lust and lust. They hate the people chosen by God, take advantage of the people's captivity, gloat and avenge themselves, and are all judged and attacked by God.
The Ammonites, Moabites and Edomites were originally related to voters and were brotherly countries. The Ammonites and Moabites are descendants of Lot, relatives of Abraham and enemies of God's people. How ungrateful! It belongs to the son of flesh and lust. Edom and Esau are flesh and blood. However, all three countries bear a grudge against their brother Israel, gloating and challenging violence when Israel is in trouble. The Philistines were Canaanites, and they always hated God's chosen people. Jealousy and hatred come from lust, so we must rely on the Holy Spirit to fight against lust and completely defeat our internal enemies (Gal. 5: 16- 17).
The Ammonites, Moab and others hate Jacob whom God has chosen, and those whom God has chosen, that is, God who hates those who choose. When the Ammonites saw that the sanctuary was desecrated, the land of Israel was desolate and the house of Judah was taken captive, they cheered Aha, clapped their hands and stamped their feet, and rejoiced in the land of Israel because of hatred. Moab and Seir said, "Look! The house of Judah is no different from other countries. " (Ezek。 Edom took revenge, attacked the house of Judah, raped his brother Jacob, and gloated and spoke arrogantly in the day of Jacob's disaster (Russia 1: 12). On the day of Jerusalem's disaster, Edom said, "Tear it down! Demolition! Go straight down to the foundation! " (Ps。 137:7). While speaking slanderous words; Your arrogant words are out of the nature of inner jealousy and reflect the true nature of our elderly people! Ammonites, Moabites, Edomites, etc. It also represents our internal enemies. We must look up to the cross every day, die with Christ and live a new life (Romans. 6: 1-8).
The Lord will stretch out his hand against the Ammonites, Moab, Edom and the Philistines. The land of the children of Ammon will become a resting place for flocks. God will hand them over to the nations for plunder, and will cut them off from all peoples. God will repay Moab and Edom, strike the Philistines and cut off the Cherethites.
When God judges his enemies and takes revenge on them, they will know that the LORD is the LORD. God's punishment to the Ammonites, Moabites, Edomites and Philistines makes them know that they have sinned against God, and that the Lord is God, and the Lord should not be despised, so that they can be taught, benefited and purified before God's just judgment, and the kingdom of the Messiah will come. "Blessed, O Lord, are those who discipline and teach with your law" (Ps. 94: 12)
