Knowing this, Lin Daiyu pointed out the common sense of poetry to Xiangling and showed him Wang Wei's famous works such as No Words and Bai Qiyan. Xiangling discussed her feelings with Daiyu and asked for a poem. Daiyu asked her to sing the moon, but Xiangling wrote two songs first, but they were all rejected.
