Tips from famous Chinese language teachers: Pay attention to five points in learning ancient poetry. Ancient poetry has fascinated many middle school students with its unique charm. The summer vacation provides these students who love ancient poetry with rare and ample reading time. However, there is still a big gap between being able to read and recite ancient poetry and fully appreciate ancient poetry. Teacher Gao Junling from the high school group of Hebei Experimental Middle School reminded students that when appreciating ancient poetry, one should pay attention to the author's writing techniques and themes. How to accurately understand the content of poetry, grasp the main theme of poetry, and then appreciate the writing techniques of poetry in a short period of time, you should pay attention to five aspects in the process of learning ancient poetry. 1. Combine the annotations to understand the creative background. For example, Yang Wanli's "Four Quatrains on First Entering the Huaihe River". If there is no annotation under the poem, we only think that it is a poem describing a scene. But with the annotations, we can judge that the poem is describing scenery on the surface, but in fact it is expressing the author's pain and helplessness about the separation of the north and the south of the country through the description of the scenery, and his strong desire for the reunification of the country and the free movement of the people. 2. Understand the poet’s life. Such as Li Misun's "Spring Day". Literally speaking, the spring environment described by the author is quiet and desolate, and the mood is depressed. But answering the question at this level is not enough. Combining the poet's life, we can know that Li Misun successively held the posts of Zhongshu Sheren, Hubu Shilang, etc., but was dismissed because he tried his best to oppose Qin Hui's surrender policy. The information we get from this is: Politically, he went from a high and powerful position to a position of great power, and in terms of human relations, he went from a noisy carriage and horses in front of the door to a deserted house. So this low mood is his political frustration and loneliness and his lament for the harshness of the world. 3. Clarify the symbolic meaning of the image. The images in classical poetry generally have fixed symbolic meanings. For example, pine and plum trees symbolize noble integrity; peonies symbolize wealth; willow trees symbolize farewell and nostalgia. When poets use these images, they usually connect them with themselves to express their ambitions. In this way, based on their inherent symbolic meaning and combined with specific poems, the main idea is not difficult to understand. 4. Be good at discovering "poetry eye". In a poem, the poetic eye often reflects the emotional tone of the whole poem and shows the thoughts of the whole poem. It is the vocabulary in poetry that best embodies the spirit of things, expresses the poet's feelings, and has the strongest summary power. Appreciating poetry is to grasp the most refined and expressive words in the poem to taste it, and see its role in expanding the artistic conception of the poem and conveying the poet's emotions. 5. Use the structure of poetry to understand the content of poetry. Poems that touch the scene and evoke emotions usually first have the scene and then the emotion; poems that use the scenery to express emotions usually start with the emotion and then the scene. Understanding the structure of poetry can help us understand its content faster and better. Teacher Gao said that when middle school students face questions about ancient poetry, they must read the question carefully (including the title, author, and annotations) to find out the image, poetic eye, and understand the structure of the poem. On the basis of an overall overview, Combined with the problem itself, I believe the problem can be solved easily.
