Tengwangge's poems

Teng Wang Ge's poems are as follows:

Teng Wang Ge is a seven-character ancient poem by Wang Bo, a poet in the Tang Dynasty. This poem is attached to the author's famous preface to Wang Teng-ting, which outlines the content of the preface. The first part points out the general situation of Wang Teng Pavilion, and thinks about the grand banquet when it was built. Julian followed the second sentence to write that Nanpu painting building flew into the clouds, and the bead curtain of Xishan was involved in the rain, showing the elegance of the pavilion;

When the neckline changes from space to time, it points out the length of time, which naturally gives birth to the feeling that the scenery changes seasons and the constellation shifts, thus leading to the tail couplet; William thinks that when people go to pavilions, the river will flow forever and the whole article will be closed. The whole poem begins to chant Wang Teng-ting from two dimensions: space and time, with vertical and horizontal brushwork, poor form, concise language and deep feelings. The high tolerance and grand realm can be said to be in the same strain as the preface to Wang Teng-ting, which complement each other.

Original text:

Wang Teng Linjiang Zhu and Ming Luan went dancing. The painted building faces Nanpu Cloud, and the bead curtain rolls up the rain in the western hills at dusk. The shadow of the idle cloud pool is long, and things change for a few years. Where is the emperor in the cabinet today? Outside the threshold, the Yangtze River flows by itself.

Translation:

The tall Wang Tengting faces the Ganjiang River. Gone are the bustling scenes of nobles wearing beautiful things and jade, sitting in chariots and horses with bells ringing, and coming to the pavilion to attend song and dance banquets. In the morning, the clouds in Nanpu came to the painting building;

At dusk, the bead curtain is involved in the drizzle in the western hills, and the clouds are reflected in the river, and the days are endless. Things have changed, and I don't know how many years have passed. Where is Wang Teng in the Cabinet now? Only the river outside the railing flows freely, day and night.

Creative background:

Wang Tengting is a famous building in the south of the Yangtze River, which was built in the prosperous Tang Dynasty when Li Yuanying was appointed as the secretariat of Hongzhou. Named after Li Yuanying, Wang Teng, it is located on the newly-built Xizhangjiang Gate on the Ganjiang River in Nanchang, Jiangxi, with a wide field of vision. Li Yuanying was profligate, immoral and had no political achievements. But he is good at singing and dancing, good at painting butterflies and very artistic.

He built the Wang Teng Pavilion for the fun of singing and dancing. In 676, the third year of Shangyuan in Tang Gaozong, the poet Wang Bo went all the way to Jiaotou (present-day Vietnam) to visit his father, passed through Hongzhou (present-day Nanchang, Jiangxi), attended the banquet of Governor Yan, and made an impromptu preface to the pavilion. At the end of the preface, he attached this concise and implicit poem, summarizing the contents of the preface.
