Section 1-4: God's people should remember God's great nursing work. God is most concerned about protecting his people from the enemy. God's people should always remember God's great care and wonderful deeds for their country. Only in this way can they know God's great nursing work in history and clearly understand the historical trend, so they can always seek his face in any environment and opportunity.
Verses 5-7: Review God's Covenant with Abraham. Section 8- 1 1: Review God's promise to Isaac. Section 12- 14: Review God's promise to Jacob. Section 15- 17: Summarize God's promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Psalm 105 mainly tells how God's people should thank God for his gift and shelter, and at the same time reviews God's promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These promises are to help people know God's great nursing work, so as to be grateful and seek God's protection.
The influence of the Psalms:
1. Poetry teaches people the truth about faith and morality. For example, the psalm 1 19 is full of wisdom and moral teaching, teaching people to be loyal to God's law and seek his wisdom.
2. Poetry encourages people to keep faith in adversity. For example, Psalm 23 "Although I live like a guest, I am willing to do so" expresses my firm belief in difficulties.
3. Poems inspire people's love for God with wonderful poems and music. For example, "Praise the Lord" in Psalm 150 is a passionate hymn, which inspires people's gratitude to God.
4. Poetry has also influenced people's way of life. For example, many Christians will recite passages from poems at weddings, funerals, festivals and other occasions to express their gratitude and reverence for God. The Psalm has a profound influence on people's thoughts, beliefs, morals and emotions, and is an important part of Christian culture.
