Unit 5 Composition, Book 1, Grade 6

Unit 5 of Grade 6 consists of the following:

Knock on the door of poetry.

In the sixth grade Chinese textbook, the fifth unit is a special unit-poetry unit. This unit allows us to knock on the door of poetry and appreciate its charm.

In this unit, we learned several modern poems and ancient poems. Modern poems such as "Three Short Poems" and "Stars" have concise language and far-reaching artistic conception, which makes us feel the charm of modern poems. The ancient poems such as Farewell to the Altair and Looking at the Moon at Fifteen Nights let us appreciate the charm and beauty of ancient poems.

In the process of learning these poems, I gradually understand the characteristics and writing skills of poems. Poetry usually uses concise language to express profound feelings and thoughts, and the language image is vivid and full of rhythm. At the same time, poetry writing also needs rich imagination and creativity to create a unique artistic conception and atmosphere.

In the process of learning these poems, I also tried to write some simple poems myself. Although my poetry may not be mature and perfect, I have a deeper understanding of the connotation and writing skills of poetry through the process of writing.

In addition to learning poetry, we also conducted an interesting comprehensive learning activity-"knocking on the door of poetry". In this activity, we carried out various tasks in groups, such as collecting poems, sorting out poems and creating poems. Through these activities, we have a deeper understanding of the historical and cultural background, charm and value of poetry.

In a word, the study of this unit has given me a deeper understanding of poetry. I believe that in my future study and life, I will continue to knock on the door of poetry and appreciate more beauty of poetry.
