Small class language activity "Hug"
1. Teaching materials:
(1) Analysis of teaching materials:
Love is eternal Changing topics are the most beautiful things in the world. We speak love, feel love, express love. "Hug" is such a picture book that expresses love through different hugs between various animals. Warm pictures and familiar animals make children feel psychologically close, and cordial hugs can give children in small classes a sense of happiness and security. Based on the psychological needs of the small class, I designed this language activity "Hug" to encourage children to observe the pictures and boldly express their findings. Actively create a warm environment for children, so that they can always be in the intimate embrace of animals. Try to use your own body to imitate animal hugs, feel the joy of hugs, and pass on the happiness during interactions with peers and teachers.
(2) Activity goals:
Based on the actual level, age characteristics, and interest needs of the children in our class, the goals of this activity are determined as:
1. Observe the picture and boldly talk about the way animals hug.
2. Understand that hugging is a way to express love and experience the happiness that hugging brings. (3) Important and difficult points of the activity:
According to the cognitive characteristics of the children, during the activity, I focused on "boldly talking about the way animals hug" and "perceiving and experiencing the joy brought by hugs" as the difficult point. . (4) Activity preparation:
I am fully prepared from the following two parts
1. Knowledge preparation: children have a certain understanding of the characteristics of related animals (regional games, parent resources etc. to gain relevant experience).
2. Material preparation: PPT, laptop, large screen.
2. Preaching method:
During the activity, I used the following teaching methods to complete the goals of this activity:
(1) Intuitive demonstration method: through intuitive The demonstration method shows pictures of animals to attract children's attention, prepare children to tell the content of the picture, and initially understand the way animals hug.
(2) Guided conversation method: Through questioning and conversation activities, guide children to listen carefully and answer questions boldly.
(3) Behavioral experience method: Behavioral experience method teaching not only helps children’s perceptual understanding, but also plays a unique role in developing children’s emotions, attitudes, and values. During the activity, I will use my body movements and my own soul to feel and experience the joy brought by hugs.
3. Teaching method:
During the activities, I will create a relaxed learning environment for the children, guide the children to actively participate in the activities, and let the children look, talk, and move. , carry out activities during the hug.
4. Let’s talk about the activity process:
In order to better accomplish the activity goals, I adopted an interlocking method to organize the activities. The steps of the activity are: teachers and children hugging - animals hugging - everyone hugging.
(1) Beginning: Hug the child and stimulate interest.
I communicate with the children like this: "Hello, children!" The children will definitely say "Hello, teacher!" "Children are so polite. I really want to hug you. Do you want to hug the teacher? Come to us. Let’s hug together!” Children will relax in the teacher’s warm hug and develop a sense of intimacy, paving the way for animal hugs.
(2) Basic part-talk about hugging animals and feeling the joy of hugging.
The "Outline" points out: "The key to developing children's language is to create an environment in which they want to say, dare to say, like to say, have the opportunity to say, and receive positive responses." In this session, I sorted out the children’s real experiences and gave them feedback, directly introducing animal hugs. I designed the introduction like this: "Children, there are several small animals that are hugging happily today. Let's see how they hug?" The children who have just been hugged lovingly by the teacher can't wait to know what the animals will be. How about a hug? What would it be like for them to hold each other? With these curious questions, I will show pictures of different animals one by one to guide the children to actively answer the questions and experience the joy of hugging.
Showing different animals, I designed different questioning methods to try to keep the children interested in the activities.
1. Giraffe.
Considering that the children are very familiar with giraffes, I showed the picture of the giraffe and directly asked, "How does the giraffe hug?" "It's so funny, it turns out that it touches its head and hugs it!" to guide the children to say it boldly. Giraffe hugging method and experience, "Come, little giraffe, head to head and hug." In the head-to-head atmosphere, the children felt the giraffe expressing their love with a hug for the first time and experienced the joy of hugging.
2. elephant.
In this session, I try to start with the children's hearing, organize the children to listen to the elephant's calls, make guesses, and further learn about the elephant's hug
I asked: "Listen, whose voice is this?" How do they hold each other? "The teacher sorted out the children's questions and summarized: "You can give a hug by hooking your noses together. Children, if you were a little elephant, how would you hook up with your little friend? "Experience the behavior again and give a positive comment: "You can turn your arms into long noses and hook them together. You are so smart! "In this happy atmosphere of talking and doing, I feel the love between elephants.
3. Snake.
In this session, I start by imitating the crawling of a snake. The sound started, leading the little snake to ask directly: "Chi~chi~ the snake is here, who can tell me how the snakes hug each other? "The teacher uses language to describe the feeling of the snake baby and its mother entangled together, enriching the children's related vocabulary. "The snake baby and its mother are entangled together, what a special hug! ”
4. Big hippopotamus.
Every child has had the feeling and experience of lying on his mother’s back. In this session, I will directly show the picture of the hippopotamus and ask the children to describe it in words: "The big hippopotamus is here too, how will they hug each other? So let's take a look!" "The little hippo lies on its mother's back, just like a child lies on its mother's back and lets her carry you. Children, who of you has ever been carried? ".
When the children were reliving the feeling of being carried by their mother, I lost no time in asking: "Have any of you been carried by the teacher? Who wants the teacher to recite it? "The teacher carries every child on his back to let them experience the joy of hugging! Children who are carried by the teacher may never forget this feeling in their lives. In the process of experiencing the hugs of different animals, they break through the difficult and difficult aspects of the activity.
3. Ending part - everyone hugs each other and experiences the joy of love.
The "Outline" points out: "The development of children's language is related to the development of their emotions, experience, thinking, social interaction and other aspects. closely related.
"Therefore, after the children felt and experienced the hugging methods of animals, I actively encouraged the children to take the initiative to hug their peers and teachers, and to the deeply loving music of "Hug Me If You Love Me" *** Experience the joy brought by hugging and end the activity naturally
