Princess Sirindhorn is deeply loved by Thai people and has no equal in the country except the king and queen. The princess cares very much about the poor and often visits the poor. Princess Sirindhorn studied Chinese and Chinese culture with nine senior Chinese teachers selected by the Chinese Embassy, ??and learned to use Chinese Pinyin, Mandarin and simplified Chinese characters, setting off a "Chinese culture craze" in Thailand.
