1. Yanjin County, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province is located in the northeast of Yunnan Province and belongs to Zhaotong City. It was named after a salt well that set up a ferry to spend the flood season. Yanjin County is located on the northern slope of Wumeng Mountain in the northeastern Yunnan Plateau. The county seat is built in the deep canyon of Hengjiang River, so it is also called Canyon Rock City.

2. Yanjin is a typical mountainous county, and its topography fluctuates greatly. The mountain is mainly high in Zhongshan, high in the south and low in the north, and inclines from southwest to northeast. Due to the depth of Guanhe River and Baishui River, the county is divided into three blocks, namely, northeast area, south area and northwest area, and two mountain ranges are formed, namely, the east bank and the west bank of Guanhe River, resulting in mountainous terrain and geomorphological features, steep mountains and gullies.

3. The traffic advantage of Yanjin is also obvious. It is located in the center of Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou and Chongqing, and is known as the "gateway of Yunnan and Sichuan". Businessmen have always gathered and prospered, and it is one of the important distribution centers of people flow, logistics and information flow in northeast Yunnan.
